At Banner's Hallmark we treat all customers with respect and friendly serviceWe do not discriminate in any wayThe customer does have a valid concern that it can be a little confusing about whether to form one line to check out or to form lines at each registerWe have taken measures this week
to make that much more apparent to our customers in hopes of eliminating confusion in the future.Our store manager remembers this particular interaction with the customerShe politely informed the customer that there was one line for the registersIf she had taken this customer next, the lady already standing in line would have been the one upsetOur manager did not intend to be rude or act in a discriminatory way to the customer filing the complaintBut she did have to make clear who was next in lineWe are very sorry that this came across as rude to the customer but it was not intended that way at all, And as stated earlier in this letter, we have made the line situation much clearer.I thank the customer for helping us to see how we need to improve the checkout process
