Responding to Mr*** ***n complaint We at Bannon Custom Builders have never signed a contract with the ***'s. The first line in Mr***'s complaint "We signed a construction contract" is not true.
We were selected as the builder to
construct their addition in ***, prior to final plans and a determined scope of work. During contract negotiations and estimating of project the ***'s sent BCB $for a deposit to make sure we didn't take on other projects. The ***'s *** *** *** *** made multiple changes to the plans over that past months to get to a point that the ***s were comfortable with the estimate. Unfortunately the ***s were never happy with the Final scope and was always adding more work and not understanding why the project estimate was going up. We believe that we have submitted a fair and price for the project and believe that the ***'s never negotiated in good faith
We never intended to keep any of Mr ***'s monies even though we have 100's of hour invested in this project and we didn't pursue any additional work as we negotiated. All we wanted to do was to have a face to face meeting with *** to see ifwe could work this project out. *** failed to note to you in his complaint that we requested that many time and always told him we would return his monies then
Attached you will see the letter we sent *** last week, copy of the 30K cashed check to *** and three emails from ***, one requesting we open up talks again with *** after he submitted his complaint (which we did) and two emails stating that *** has terminated their services with the ***'s
We do wish the ***'s the best and if you need any additional information please ask

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Stevens Relocation regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
 I did not receive a phone call, but rather an e-mail sending a complaint form to fill out with their company. At no time did they...

attempt to resolve the issue. When I tried calling the person I was previously in contact with, he told me that he no longer works in his previous capacity and told me to fill out a form instead. Since then, we ended up realizing that the company delivered some wrong items to our home and some of our things were delivered to another person. We still haven't gotten that resolved either.
