I would first like to start this response with the fact that the customer is asking for a refund for a much greater amount than the actual price of the driveway.? Secondly, the customer and I had agreed on a day to come and pave the drivewayI showed up on the agreed upon day with trucks (already loaded with costly materials, especially the asphalt), machines and almost men to complete the workWhen I showed up to the job, it came to my surprise that there was another "fly by night - no name" company digging up the driveway with picks, sledge hammers, and shovelsWhen I asked the customer what was going on he simply state "I could not wait for you to arrive".I simply had no choice but to take the loss on the Time, Labor, Materials and especially money.? Shortly after the customer contacted me saying that the company he hired ? told him "they needed money to pay for the asphalt" then proceeded to take the money after digging up and grading the driveway and left without actually paving it.? After the customer asked me over and over to come complete the work because his son couldn't play basketball on the driveway, I finally cavedHe stated that the driveway was already ripped up, graded and ready to pave and all that I had to do was lay the asphaltI cannot warranty any work in which I did not do the do the base work (which is the most important part)The customer should have hired me from the start and he would have a correct, warrantied, and beautiful drivewayBannon Paving paves 15-driveways a week and has many very happy customers as our reviews across the internet project.? ? ?

I have proof from Bannon Paving that they admitted the job was not done correctly in late 2016 and when the weather was warm, in the Spring 2016 they would return and take care of it. They have not kept their word. I am not asking for any monetary damages. I only want them to return to my house and take care of my driveway. My three kids can't skateboard or play basketball because it's so uneven, sinks and water puddles. I will withdraw this complaint if Bannon Paving does the right thing and fixes the problem. I want nothing else. Bannon Paving, please make this right for my family.
