I hired Banquetes for my wedding on September 29thThey charged me over $for services, I paid them upfront $
we agreed on photographer, food, venue decoration of tables, cake, dj, ceremony, and waitersThe day of the wedding there was no set up for my ceremony as agreed, my wedding party had to scramble to set something upThe food was cold, only of the table were provided, and again my wedding party had to locate more tables for the guest to be seatedThe set up of the venue was not at all what we agreedHe never once showed up to check the venue, after sending him a text once I was made aware that there was no area for the ceremonyI texted him and he assured me he would be there before 5:PM which is when the ceremony was to take placeThe cake was not the flavor nor the design we agreed on, we stated we wanted our initials on the cake and that did not happenThey forgot the plates for the cake, so we had to serve the cake on napkinsNothing went as

I cannot begin to mention how I feel about this company, Me and my husband fell in love with Paseo’s location on March AveWe paid monthly for Two Years from our hard earned moneyWe had some sponsors but my husband paid for the wedding package, from the wedding coordinator to the tables centerpieces and food, teaNo lemonade was served even when it was an option we chooseWe started off working with couple that we were told were the owners of The Executive Center (Paseo), then no one followed up with my husband and I about a new coordinatorWe thought okay we were well taken care of for a year or so, months before our wedding day no one again! tells us we do not have a wedding coordinator, had to message the last one on my ownSo my husband and I were upset not knowing why things are not very organized and No one Again calls their clients to at least say how are you doing how can we help you? Do you have any ideas so far for your centerpieces?!
No one really told us what amounts are included with the items in the package there terms were Always that We can choose what we want “It’s all included in the package “Well after choosing our wedding cake Kory was upset that she charged more money for Fondant Cake and what have you So We told her How much more we can pay it! Again Kory didn’t answer my phone calls or text messages! My husband had to call and Let the New coordinator “In Training “ ask what is going on why can’t we have the cake we want! After all the unnecessary calls we ended our contract with Kory and got the tier cake we wanted, after all Paseo Real & Banquetes Del Norte Slogan is “We make all your dreams come true “! At least that’s what I always hear them sayWe were also told the venue has a bar, we were given an idea of a cocktail hour and after the cocktail hour “The Bar” would be up to selling beer or whatever drinks they sold, we were okay with that planmonth prior to our wedding day, we review what is on the contract, thinking Paseo Real and will be serving alcoholic drinks, but The owner/coordinator tells us they do not have a TABC License! We were told differentlyEric Silva has no professionalism at all, I’m not perfect in Spanish my bilingual is not the bestHe knows English and I just don’t understand how this man a “Wedding Coordinator “ he does not communicate with anyone well at least not with meI always had to be the one to call and ask about everythingI must say this man has not been very accurate or efficientI know what others might think but I have never been married, I wouldn’t know where to start or ask, I have relied on family and friends that have asked questionsAbout everything Wedding relatedI had on my contract bartenders but they only could provide 1, I also had on my contract servers but on my actual wedding day there was just server! There were women serving the plates but only waitress my guest told me it took so long for them to eat when I asked for an adult plate for one of the teenagers that was hungry, they were all serving the food with their hands! It was gross and unprofessional and I didn’t have time to complain to themWhen I arrived to Paseo I asked one of the young girls where was Eric Silva or a wedding coordinator and she says he was supposed to be there and no one knew when he would get thereOne older woman who said she was helping at the bar was rude the entire night!
I had guest tell me she was not helpful at all and when my guest asked for olives, cherries etcshe tells them she will not give anything unless they tipped her! I am very upset and livid about how my guest whom my husband and I paid a very large amount to this company to treat my guest in a very rude way! I did not expect what I have been told!
Finally towards the end of the night Eric Silva Finally shows up! It’s our wedding day Why would I be mad at anyone, I had a wonderful time with family and friendsMy husband, sisters, mother had to buy all the wine and cases of beer for all our guest!
We ended up leaving some beer behindAll in all this experience was the worst and I should have listened to a good friend of mine to never hire Paseo or Banquetes del Norte as our wedding coordinator!
I will never recommend them to Anyone Ever and for all who see this I hope this finds you in time before you give this company any of your hard earned money Even if money is nothing to you there communication and professionalism is not there at all!
