This hospital has charged me over $2000 for a short emergency room service that misdiagnosed my broken hand as a sprain. Part of the bill includes a $50 charge for IB-prophine. They sent me separate bills for the xray tech, the hospital, and the doctor even though the hospital bill includes duplicate charges. They have refused to work with me on reducing the bill.

I am rejecting this response because: This company, on multiple occasions, refused to refund this money until verification that another company, Leading Edge Emergency Physicians, was paid. A representative from Tricare advised me this collusion was both illegal and against the contractual agreement between Tricare and Baptist Emergency Hospital. She advised me this would be taken care of immediately and a check in the full amount would be mailed to me. Last Saturday, a check in correct amount arrived but had Tricare not intervened, Baptist Emergency Hospital would still be holding this money. Sadly, it was not refunded as a normal part of their business practices. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.
Regards,
