I would like to take this opportunity to respond to comments we received from Revdex.com on May 30, 2017. In this correspondence, the complainant states no one from Baptist Health La Grange ever made contact. The complainant was contacted on May 23, 2017 and spoke with [redacted] which is a Baptist Health La Grange department. The complainant also states their insurance was billed incorrectly. The patient's insurance company was initially billed for a breast ultrasound instead of a breast mammogram that was completed on March 10, 2017. This billing error was corrected and the corrected bill was submitted immediately after the patient spoke with the Practice Manager on May 23, 2017. On March 17, 2017 the complainant received care for additional services at [redacted] These bills have been reviewed and have been determined to be correct. Finally, [redacted] Patient Experience Representative at Baptist Health La Grange has reached out to the complainant and requested a callback to discuss the continued billing concerns. As of June 8, 2017 [redacted] has not received a return phone call.I hope this additional information will help to resolve the filed complaint; however, if there are any additional questions the complainant may contact our Patient Experience Representative at [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Please close this complaint even though it has been unresolved I no longer have the time to continue checking with both of my insurance companies for completion of the issue.  At this date neither insurance company has received any information to have my deductible reversed and the itemized statement that I received is incorrect due to staff not knowing how to read an EOB.This could have been avoided if only this billing office would have believed me when I first called regarding this.Please do not contact me by phone or mail regarding this issue as I do not see this office being able to correct their mistakes.
