This client did not read our website nor termsHe neglected to state in his review that we we do offer refunds up to days but he got back to us days after purchase. In accordance to our contract with Bowker (ISBN Agency) we offer two packages for different types of self publishersThere
are $and $packagesOur product description page CLEARLY states which package should be used for *** http://www.isbn-us.com/home1/ This language was put on our website after an agreement between our company and *** so their clients know to order the $package*** ordered the $packageIn addition, this information is also described in our FAQs and our mandatory terms which all clients must agree to when making a purchase. It is also COMPLETELY visible on our main product page in both the comparison table and in following note below:How do I select a package? - Main product pageWhere you intend to sell your books will determine which package you should selectAround 90% of our clients select the Self-Publisher Package because they are primarily going to self-distribute their booksPublishers who intend to sell through distributors ***, and large retailers will need to purchase the Publisher Package for $each. Even though the purchase was past our day refund period, we did offer to credit the client $against the purchase of the $package needed for ***. This was not acceptable to the client since he does not wish to change ISBN numbers. We still are offering the ***e deal if he changes his mind
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
R [redacted]
Even though [redacted] does own [redacted], they are two separate companies. Both companies have different ways to handling book identification. It clearly states in the Publisher Package column, [redacted]. Additionally, there is paragraph just below the table which also repeats which package [redacted] clients should select. We will provide the client a $55 credit against the $129 package to enable him to get an ISBN which can be used for [redacted]. The client cannot use the ISBN originally issued so it he wants to sell on [redacted], he will need a new ISBN. For the record, [redacted] will allow the client to use one of their own ISBNs for free, but that ISBN can just be used for [redacted].
