Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We are in disagreement with the response given by Bar N Ranch for numerous reasons First, our reservation time was originally for 6:45pmOur tour manager, Deb H***, had called to see if she were able to change the reservation time to 6:15pm and she was told they were not able to accommodateWe understand that time changes are not always able to be honored and she did not have an issue with thisDue to animals in the road, our group arrived at 7:11pm, minutes late as opposed to the minutes that was stated in the Bar N Ranches responseAlso, in Deb's tour report she stated that they arrived for dinner at 7:11pmDeb had also called Bar N Ranch to let them know about the animal delay and was told it would not be a problem Second, we were aware that we were going to be in a private room outside of the main building, but had been told it would still be a fine dining experienceOtherwise, we would not have paid almost $a person including the room feeWhen our clients are seated in plastic chairs, served sub-par food, and then receive their meals an hour apart from each other, we expect a lot more for $a person.? We contract for over banquet events per year,? and in every one we expect efficient service, not having one table get their entre's when the table next to them is getting dessert.? It was clear that your kitchen and service staff were not prepared to serve a quality meal in a timely fashion and our clients suffered as a result Third, as far as the changing counts, our tour manager called in meatloaf, Chicken breast, trout, & lasagnaAt no time did she make any changes to these counts nor was she informed that a client had made a request to change their mealHad she been informed of the change then she would have instructed you to only serve the original count that was given Here are a few quotes we received on our client's tour surveys regarding the Bar N Ranch Meal.? And then to turn around and tell the Revdex.com that AFC was totally to blame for this is absolutely appalling.? Shame on you.? This is not how a travel partner should act.? Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
We are in disagreement with the response given by Bar N Ranch for numerous reasons.
First, our reservation time was originally for 6:45pm. Our tour manager, Deb H[redacted], had called to see if she were able to change the reservation time to 6:15pm and she was told they were not able to accommodate. We understand that time changes are not always able to be honored and she did not have an issue with this. Due to animals in the road, our group arrived at 7:11pm, 26 minutes late as opposed to the 45 minutes that was stated in the Bar N Ranches response. Also, in Deb's tour report she stated that they arrived for dinner at 7:11pm. Deb had also called Bar N Ranch to let them know about the animal delay and was told it would not be a problem.
Second, we were aware that we were going to be in a private room outside of the main building, but had been told it would still be a fine dining experience. Otherwise, we would not have paid almost $60 a person including the room fee. When our clients are seated in plastic chairs, served sub-par food, and then receive their meals an hour apart from each other, we expect a lot more for $60 a person.  We contract for over 100 banquet events per year,  and in every one we expect efficient service, not having one table get their entre's when the table next to them is getting dessert.  It was clear that your kitchen and service staff were not prepared to serve a quality meal in a timely fashion and our clients suffered as a result.
Third, as far as the changing counts, our tour manager called in 18 meatloaf, 7 Chicken breast, 18 trout, & 1 lasagna. At no time did she make any changes to these counts nor was she informed that a client had made a request to change their meal. Had she been informed of the change then she would have instructed you to only serve the original count that was given.
Here are a few quotes we received on our client's tour surveys regarding the Bar N Ranch Meal.  [redacted] [redacted].- “Bar N Ranch, W. Yellowstone, was terrible”; [redacted] [redacted].- “ Our meal in West Yellowstone was terrible”; [redacted]. “In West Yellowstone, our party of four waited almost one hour to get our food. When it arrived, none of us was able to eat any of it as it had been cooked too long and you could not cut it with steak knife”; [redacted]. – “ Bar N Ranch- lousy”; [redacted].- “ Bar N Ranch food inedible”. These are just a few of the comments we received as well as phones calls from upset clients.Nothing excuses such low quality food and service and our reputation suffered because of this.
And lastly, we cannot understand how your company, who prides itself on reputation and service, can choose to totally neglect our numerous calls and emails concerning this complaint and refuse to reach out to hear us or show any compassion for the "mess" of a dinner provided.  And then to turn around and tell the Revdex.com that AFC was totally to blame for this is absolutely appalling.  Shame on you.  This is not how a travel partner should act.  At least 50% of this problem was caused by your company.  Step up and take responsibility for your action, that is all we ask.

Dear Revdex.com,
In regards to the complaint we are in disagreement of the timeline of events for the night of August 13th. The group in the complaint had booked a private room for the night of the 13th at a designated time for dinner service. Upon the day of the group they called and requested to change...

their dinner service time. In accordance to our restaurant policies we do not change group reservations with cancellations or changes in accordance to our cancelation policy for the ranch which is a 30 days notice. The reason for this is the extreme traffic flow into Yellowstone national park. As they wanted a later dinner time we only accommodate groups of that size at that time in the lodge in banquet style not in the fine dining restaurant which was explained to the group prior to booking. In addition even after they told they could not alter their service time. They should up 45 minutes late to their reservation and in addition changed their preordered group menu items. We take group orders 2 weeks prior to arrival to ensure the efficiency of the groups service and ability to serve them in addition to the other patrons dining in our fine dining restaurant. With the changes of ordering and late arrival of their group we did our best to ensure everyone's satisfaction which included remaking a couple of items and catering to their every needs. As stated to the clients previously we are willing to do everything in our power to keep them satisfied however we are not willing to go further than we already have in trying to satisfy them. If there is anymore assistance in this matter I can offer please let me know.

Sincerely,
