hello and thank you for your help in this mattermy complaint has been resolved with Bar None auction, Shannon C [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
This is an Outright LIEHe never offered me ANYTHING, and I have a Witness to verify this.No surprise thoughThat's how this Guy manages his affairs with everyone

Subject: Complaint ID ***Sirs: In reference to complaint ID *** the complainant abandoned his purchase We sold the vehicle at our next auction on June 23rd and mailed him a check for the net proceeds This policy is stated in our terms and conditions, a copy of
which was accepted by Mr*** when he registered to bid on our website Our terms and conditions may be found at *** and clearly state the following in item 16: “…All items must be removed from the auction facility within days after the auction dateIf for any reason purchaser fails to remove any purchase within the time specified, the purchase shall be deemed abandoned, and Auctioneer at its sole discretion may resell the items...”I also gave him the opportunity to pay a restocking fee equal to the fees associated with the sale of the vehicle, but he did not accept my offer As a result the vehicle was sold, and Mr*** has received a check for the net proceeds

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The Owner sold this auto knowing it had a blown motor and was Junk. Ever other Auction business in the NW has a policy of making description notes if a vehicle is inoperable so as to show honesty to all bidders. I did not realize this business operated in this shady method to get higher bids and take advantage of on-line buyers. When I complained in the office, I was told about the restocking fee  which I was willing to pay. He said to leave the paperwork and title there, and he would take care of it.Instead of deducting the restocking fee and sending the balance, the Manager decided to sell it again (as if it was My Vehicle), and take huge fees for profit instead. I paid $4,104.55, and received a check for $2,040.00, incurring a loss of $2,040.00. I would have taken the car home if I had know what a crooked deal I was going to get.I know this Company has a history of taking people in dirty deals now. You can read many complaints on the internet. If I can save just one person from being ripped off from this Unscrupulous Company, I will feel that my loss has saved some other Senior from what I experienced.

hello and thank you for your help in this matter. my complaint has been resolved with Bar None auction, Shannon C[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] did not accept my offer for him to pay an $800 restocking fee, and I had no other contact with him.  As a result, in accordance with our terms and conditions, we resold the vehicle as an abandoned purchase.  We deducted our normal seller fee and sent Mr. [redacted] the net proceeds.  We consider the matter closed and will not refund any of his original purchase price.  The vehicle was sold "as-is" with no mechanical guarantees.
