Review: BHG represented herself as a designer, that would help design my house, the interiors, and do landscaping. I hired her summer 2011. The plan was to choose everything (stone, lighting, furniture, rugs even) before starting the house so that I can control the unknowns and have a better grasp on my budget. Also, it would help me not be in a rush when my future contractor asked me bring in supplies. I would have had them all picked out and in storage. BHG said she would purchase and store them for me. I am a single woman who works long hours, and thought this was a good idea. This way the house would get done on time without my schedule interfering. BHG did poor work as a designer for the house plans. And I should have fired her earlier. But, I trusted her well spoken words over my instincts. I paid for stone and other materials months ahead of time, to have everything ready when the contractor needed them. But when the contractor asked for my tile and stone, she took months to deliver. When it should have been weeks. Lighting I paid for came weeks to months later, and all my outdoor lighting did not show up. Then, as I asked her for the other items I had paid for: they would not show up. Front door hardware, bathroom hardware, cabinet hardware...Things I paid in full for. She never materialized a landscape plan, that I paid for. I have been asking for my items. I have due to me 125000, +/- some, from BHG. Either for reimbursement for items not delivered, or for items fully paid for. Other items I paid large deposits on. It is April 2014, and I gave her a deadline for the end of this week. I just found out that she has not yet even made the sofas and other items I have paid her over a year ago for. She did not order the special rug I paid for to be made. I don't know if she will bring the two Fine Arts lights I paid in full for. I know am hearing from other sources that she is doing this to others, but I am the one currently most at a loss of money. This is fraud, criminal.Desired Settlement: I would like all items due to me delivered by April 23/24th as my emails with her have demanded as final notice. All monies due to me for items that were not delivered is to be returned to be by April 31st to close my balance with her.By April 31st, I will pay her the difference of what I owe her. I owe 20k if everything is delivered. I will otherwise, file fraud charges with the law enforcement as she knowingly took advantage of me and took money without applying it to the items to be ordered.
