Our firm's first call to [redacted] 's home was on Tuesday, November 24, for a problem of low water pressureUpon arrival at Mr [redacted] 's home, our employees found a very old pressure tank that was in extremely poor condition, needing to be replacedRobert Lreported to me that even, that the pressure tank was ancient and the plumbing in the house was in such poor condition, that it needed to be replacedOur employees replaced the pressure tank and cycled the system through several times to make sure Mr [redacted] had good water pressureThe concern which was relayed to Mr [redacted] was that with the poor condition of his water pipes and the increased pressure from the pressure tan would cause leaks in other placed in his plumbingOn Thursday, November 26, (Thanksgiving Day), at 1:43pm Mr [redacted] called to say he has a leak and that we were just out to his home to replace his pressure tank on Tuesday,November 24thI assumed the leak was on one of the fittings that we had replaced on TuesdayBeing that he called on a Holiday our pump crew was not working, but I dispatched them to fix the leakWhen the office is closed we charge an overtime rate, because we have to pay our employees overtime and time in a half on holidaysWhen Robert Lgot to the office Mr [redacted] called again to see how soon before the men would be arrivingI gave Robert Lthe phone to speak with Mr [redacted] I heard him ask Mr [redacted] if the leak was located in the equipment or materials we just replacedHe said no it was near his water softenerRobert told him we would come out to fix the leak, but due to the condition of his pipes he should really call a plumber instead of us coming out to [redacted] Mr [redacted] wanted us to come out instead of choosing to call a plumberTwo employees were sent to fix the leakThe men installed new fittings and 6"of 1/2" copper pipeThey worked for an hour and a half trying to solder the copper pipe that was in poor conditionWhen our men fixed one leak, another leak would occurMrLexplained to Mr [redacted] that they would not continue to solder his leaks that the pipes need to be replaced, he would have to call a plumberMr [redacted] wanted us to continue to solder his rotten copperMr [redacted] called and spoke to me about his displeasure with the call he just paid forI told him we are only licensed to work on his waterlines that come into his house to the pressure tank and water conditionerHe would have to hire a licensed plumber to replace the pipes elsewhere in the houseThat is when he told me our website claims our firm provides water from the well to the faucet, which in fact is not trueMr [redacted] is unhappy because our firm refused to fix plumbing in which our company is not licensed to fix/replaceThe increased water pressure had caused the rotten copper pipes to leakWe are truly sorry that Mr [redacted] is unhappy with our last service callHe was given the choice to have us come out the fix the leak near the conditioner or to call a plumberHe knew he would be charged since it did not involve any of the equipment we installed
