not certain how and we routinely delivered to both locations at the same time. The orders were place for both locations on February 6, 2015 and scheduled for Monday/Tuesday delivery.[redacted] is a narrow dead end dirt lane that goes back thru the woods to the 2 locations. Access has been a problem in the past during winter months. There are notations on both accounts referencing the poor conditions of the lane. Both parties are well aware that access has been an issue during the winter months. Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to make short-notice deliveries because of the poor conditions. The driver who covers this area attempted to deliver to the customers on Monday February 9, and found the lane covered in ice. He told me that he was afraid to go back the lane because he would get stuck. I was not willing to risk my driver and his truck trying to make a delivery to an unsafe location. I contacted what I believed to be the primary contact for the 2 locations to let them know I was not able to make the delivery.I was then contacted by the second account on Wednesday February 11 asking why they had not received a delivery. I explained the situation. Evidently the person I contacted was not the primary contact for both locations and so l made an error in my attempt to inform the customers. The fact is that I made a good faith effort to contact someone. The customer insisted that they must have a delivery because they were very low, had children at the location, and that is was going to be very cold. There was no concern by the customer for the safety and well being of my driver and equipment. I had numerous customers in the same situation. If the truck got stuck there would a lot of customers who would not get deliveries. That did not matter to the customer, they wanted their delivery. We work very hard to service our customers and make timely deliveries. The drivers face brutal temperatures and adverse road conditions. The customers on [redacted] have chosen to live in a location that has access issues in the winter.  I don’t feel that it is my obligation to make a delivery regardless of risk to men and equipment. I was very annoyed at their lack of consideration for my employee, my equipment and my other customers. My livelihood depends on them. I reached the point that I no longer wanted to service these accounts and I told them they need to find another fuel supplier.I do not have any money belonging to the customer and I have experienced no financial gain at the customers expense over this incident. They likely have found a supplier that was willing to service their location. I consider the matter closed.Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: Ordered Oil On A Friday. Was told oil would be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. Both days pass and no oil delivered. I call Wednesday and find out it wasn't delivered due to icy driveway. When asked about why I was notified Monday about the conditions he replied that he thought it was a father son thing and that he just called the son to inform him and that we'd talk. That wasn't the case. The owner was very rude when speaking and despite not having enough oil to last us even another day and apparently not knowing the equipment of his own vehicles he not only refused to help us and send us oil he terminated service for our area. As someone who worked not only in the service industry but the military his actions and demenor are appalling to say the least. We have no oil for another day when it's supposed to be -10 tonight when our household not only has small children but and elderly woman as well.Desired Settlement: Follow through with your Promises. A simple solution would be to run a hose.
