July 7, RE: Case # [redacted] We are deeply sorry for the frustration [redacted] has experiencedWe pride ourselves on the quality of our program and the education provided to our studentsWhen Mrs [redacted] enrolled her daughter, [redacted] , in our program on April 3, 2017, an enrollment agreement was signed outlining the specific terms of the classes and tuitionThe tuition includes forty-eight hours of instruction as well as the majority of the items needed for classThese items include a tote bag, activity book, makeup and skin care products and all the other miscellaneous products needed during their lessonsThe only supplies we ask the students and their families to provide are makeup brushes and mascara for sanitation purposesWe sincerely apologize that Mrs [redacted] was under the impression that meals would be providedBarbizon makes every attempt, both verbally and in writing, to ensure each family is prepared prior to each day of class and knows that to expectAs with most educational programs and extracurricular activities, meals are not included in the tuition priceBarbizon would not be able to provide food for a number of reasons: individual allergies and dietary needs are just a few examplesBarbizon received Mrs [redacted] ’s official cancellation after the second day of classAt this point, a refund is not due; however, Barbizon does not intend to pursue the additional funds contractually owed.Sincerely, [redacted] *** Barbizon International We hope this provides the necessary clarificationWe regret that [redacted] will not be continuing her journey with Barbizon at this time; however, we are still very interested in [redacted] and believe in her potentialWe would be delighted to hold a seat in another class for her and review all that the program entailsWe hope that we can schedule different class dates so she can complete her training and receive all the benefits of being a graduate
