I recently purchased a truck from this dealership. and gave a 1500 down payment. and after purchasing the vehicle I had to put 500 dollars worth of work into the truck. I ended up returning the truck within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle. They accepted the truck back. But would not return my down payment and are requiring me to pay 160$ payment but I returned the truck and they will not return my money. I was told at the dealership that if I dont pay the 160$ payment they will turn my credit in for non payment. But I gave the truck back. I should not and will not pay any more if they have the truck.
To whom it may concern: *** purchased a Toyota truck on 11-5-2019 and proceeded to drive the truck. On 12-7-2019, I received a phone call from his brother who informed me that *** could not afford the truck payment and his full coverage insurance. I apologized to the brother and requested that *** would call me instead for confidentiality reasons. I then spoke with *** on the same day and explained to him that I could not take the vehicle back and apologized. He then asked if I could just sell it for him so it wouldn’t hurt his credit. I replied yes and offered to put it on the lot for a few days as consignment.
