Review: I enrolled and completed the Barbri program for NY for the July 2014 exam. I wasn't sure whether I would like to take PA or NY, and actually switched a few times right before the beginning of the course, because they were the same price. I ended up taking NY. I was told the course would be free for the next available exam. I did not pass the NY exam, and am now signed up for the PA exam in February. I spoke to my Barbri representative and was told that I could not have this course for free because it is a different state, and that the best I could get is the Barbri alumni rate. It is completely unfair that I am unable to get this course for free just because it is a different state. The programs run almost (if not exactly) simultaneously, and there are only a few books that are different. Further, the PA course has barely any live options (only a few classes in the winter) so it will all be on a video screen. There is no reason that this would be any different from taking the NY course, especially because the first time around I was allowed to switch back and forth multiple times.Desired Settlement: I would like the class to be free for the February 2015 PA exam.
