Our case in short consist around a contract that was canceled by the merchant WorldMark by Wyndham due to legal policies and practices which warranted our refund. The refunds were to be in two amounts and were processed on Feb 2021, one for $2,238.36 and the other for $3,544.70. The $2,238.36 posted but the $3544.70 did not. We have diligently worked between both WorldMark by Wyndham and Barclays to bring resolve to this matter. It has been long and tedious and we have been patient as asked by both entities as each promised their due diligence in ensuring we as clients did not suffer the loss of our funds. WorldMark by Wyndham has done their due diligence and gave proof of sending and closing the transaction we have been deceived by Barclay, Since their initial error when they misfiled the case internally they falsely claimed to be conducting an investigation that never took place and now allege in the end that we waited to long to take action. Upper management in Las Vegas has like lower has mislead and lied to us and refuse to respond appropriately. We request that since closure is validated by WorldMark date and time in an official letter that Barclays do an audit on the dates in question 16 and 17 Feb 2021 but they refuse. And are ignoring our to talk to the lead Manager who never called back. My documentation back this which they have but it appears that a court of law is our only resolve. They have use the wait 2 cycles for the whole last year as a time wasting tactic and telling I have to count it a loss. They gave me false fax number to contact and send document to the Office of The President. So I seeking other assistance including legal. The blatant unethical unfair, insensitive and deceptive and disrespectful manner in which my wife and family have been treated by various employees will clearly see that our treatment is in direct contradiction and conflicts with the passionate statement made on their website concerning the five values that supposed to be foundational to their moral compass expressed at https://home.barclays/who-we-are/our-strategy/purpose-and-values/. They state – Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Stewardship – are our moral compass; the fundamentals of who we are and what we believe is right and proclaim Acting with empathy and integrity, we aim to be a leader in the profession of banking and to engender trust amongst our key stakeholders.
