I signed up for membership to a Healthtrax facility when my health insurance offered membership at no cost through [redacted] program I have used the facility for over ten years and recently Healthtrax decided to add a $a month charge to seniors who are members to use some of the gym's facilities that were normally included in the membership Some of the features included were classes, pool, sauna, and other activities, and they also added that we could not go into the gym before 1pm in the afternoon They have targeted the senior population, who are on a fixed income and use the gym to maintain a healthy lifestyle through their health insurance In some respects, I can understand the extra money to use the pool and other aspects of the gym, but to add the fact that we cannot go into the gym before 1pm is outrageous There are a lot of us seniors that like to do our activities in the morning and be home for lunch and whatever in the afternoon and I find this a way for the

I joined Healthtrax in Enfield, CT on 8/19/at which time I was undergoing PT which required a pool I signed up for a year and after PT, I not longer went to this facility due to the distance from my home I couldn't cancel due to my commute was within their range I looked at my contact and noticed that I could go in and terminate in September but would have to pay for one additional month When I called Healthtrax to confirm my information, I was informed by Jennifer that I could not terminate my contract until November because my payment where withdrawn via EFT
On Saturday, November 4, I went in and cancelled my membership and was informed by Jennifer I still had to pay one month When I got home and noticed my contact was up the end of August I called and spoke to Jennifer and questioned why I was given incorrect information I could have cancelled my membership in September but was informed I couldn't until November and had to pay an additional $for mem
