Barefoot Pools in Pittsburg CaGordon Johnson, the owner is not honorable, honest or reliable and needs to be stopped from doing business with others until he lives up to his previous committments Beware!
We contracted to install a pool by barefoot pools out of Pittsburg California early this year Gordon Johnson owner
We paid each installment when due, yet he fails to live up to his contract
He failed to deliver the pool cover that we paid for
He failed to deliver the pool sweeper that we paid for
He broke the fence and failed to fix the damage he caused
He failed to finish removing the rebar
He failed to remove the construction debris when the decking was installed
He failed to fix the crack in the concrete near the pool equipment that was created when the pool was filled
He fails to return calls and emails
He laughs when we ask when he plans to honor his committments
He is the type of business owner that should not be allowed to do business
Don't let this happen to anyone you know
We have a beautiful pool, but he is not finished His dishonesty has us regretting choosing him as the poolbuilder He asked us to be patient and we have waited for months for him to resolve this honorably
He has failed to live up to his commitments Warn anyone you know Please pass this on!

I just had the pleasure to complete a major renovation with Barefoot Pools & Custom Landscapes which included: 40” x 20” saltwater pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, 6 separate fire features, lots of hardscape, putting green, 3 separate decks, 3.5 acres of landscaping and walking paths throughout the property. This is my first construction project so I’m definitely a novice when it comes to construction, design, fit and finish. Add to the fun, image coordinating a project of this size from my primary residence in Canada. Yes, Canada!
For the past 23 years I’ve run a large service based business in both the U.S. and in Canada. One thing I’ve learned is service is only as good as the employees, business culture and the leadership/ownership of the organization.
