I had called Cox Studio around the end of May, beginning of June to inquire about a quote for a custom photo mat that I needed for July. I gave the lady who answered the phone all of the necessary dimensions, details, and color options. I made it clear that I was looking for a quote only. She said that it would just be easier if I came in to the store. When I explained that I was out of the country and wouldn't be back until right before I needed to pick up the mat, her exact words were "Well, I guess I can't help you then." I was appauld but managed a "thank you" and hung up. Feeling like this response needed to be addressed, I emailed the business right away explaining what had happened. (I have been in customer service my entire career and would appreciate a customer complaint coming directly to the company over any other public method, such as this one.) In the email, I explained that I wanted to give them the opportunity to respond to me directly without having to use public reviews or the Revdex.com. It is now the end of August and I have yet to receive any type of response from this business. Obviously, I went with another company for my photo mat. After this whole encounter, all I really wanted from them was some kind of apology before it had to negatively impact their business in a public manner.
