As far as the first issue I was told $and I did understand about the taxes I believe I said it was no big deal In response to the business owner's statement: As I explained before, when I brought the power washer home the first time, there was no gas leaking and it ran fine for about minutes power washing a small area and then gas started to pour, not drip, out of the bottom of the bowl below the carburetorIt is a statement from the business owner that there was any offer to help secure the equipment in the back of my truckI do have a wood frame in the front of the bed for this purpose and that is where I placed the power washer so it would not slide to the back of the bedAs I stated before, I live less than two miles from the business and there was no highway travel, again, another statement by the business ownerI live miles from the business and time traveled is minutesI will be glad to provide both addresses so that you can confirm the distance traveledIf it was leaking gas as a result of the vehicle movement, for example, what about all the companies that transport lawn mowers and power washers on the back of a trailer that shake around due to driving movement? The gas leak was not caused by me transporting it less than miles down side streetsWhen I brought the power washer back the second time, I laid it on it's back again trapped in by the wood so it would not slide to the back of the bedI believed the carburetor float was stuck open (that was my best guess on what was wrong) with the power washer, so laying on its back and the engine up in the air the float would be in a neutral position and would not leak gasIt is a true statement that [redacted] did offer to look at it but he was very rude and arrogantWithout even looking at the machine, he accused me right away of damaging the power washer because of the way it was hauledHe took the machine from the truck and I asked him if he was going to look it now or in a few daysHe told me it would take another week and a half, not a weekThat's when I told him to put the power washer back into the truck and that was unacceptableI was rightfully upset because 1) his uncooperative and accusatory manner how he treated me, the customer, and 2) I had already paid him for it to be repaired the first time and I believe I should not have to wait such a long time because it was still not in working conditionPerhaps if he had handled the situation more respectfully, I would have returned the respect and waitedThe bottom line is, you don't treat your customers like thatI paid the business owner and the power washer is still brokenI should ask for a full refund, but because of his initial efforts and any parts, that's why I am respectfully requesting at least half of my money backThank you Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/06/25) */ In response: In speaking with Mr [redacted] on 6/15/about his estimate, [redacted] *explained to him that it would be about $and tax for a deep carb cleaning and tune up for his pressure washerHe later ok'd the estimate and picked up his equipment on 6/16/after receiving a call that it was doneIt was explained to him then that they also had to replace the carb float bowl gasket which raised his bill an additional $The machine had been tested for a minimum of minutes when the work was completed prior to him receiving the call that it was done, and there was no issue with itThe business offered to make the necessary repairs needed due to the equipment not being transported correctly and falling around in his truck while driving down [redacted] Drand RT [redacted] (as per signed witness statements), but the owner declined saying, "All's good." (as per signed witness statements) and left with his equipment once again not tied down
