Review: Hello, I have a complaint about this mattress company name Bargain City Furniture & Mattresses. I purchased two mattresses and two boxsprings on 9/25/2013 and I just moved into my new place so I removed the plastic from one of them. The first night my husband and I slept on the mattress and awoke with bites all over our bodies. My husband went to the hospital because his were more severe and found out they were bites from bedbugs. I contacted the company and advised them of the issue. I spoke to the owner or manager and he stated the mattresses they sold us are fine and he doesn't sell used mattresses. All of his mattresses are new. I asked him for a refund and he stated he would not give me one. I advised I would contact the Revdex.com and he stated he didn't care and the call was disconnect.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the mattresses I purchased and also my husband's medical expenses paid for due to this issues.
We received a letter from you updated 10/30/13, case #[redacted] regarding a complaint from one of our customers. Our customer stated that we sold them a used mattress and the mattress contained bedbugs.
All of our mattresses are brand new with tags when they are made. They are completely factory sealed when we received them. We order these mattresses every week and from there it goes straight to the customer’s house. No pre-handling.
For this customer, we had made a special order queen sized split box spring. We delivered this mattress first and five days later they received the box spring. We attached copies of the invoices to show the orders. We delivered the mattress to this address:

I’m assuming they moved to a different location after our delivery. They had the mattress for a month before they moved to the new apartment as stated by the customer.
We have been with this factory for over 12 years and we have never had any problems with their mattresses.
We are truly sorry for the customer about the problem, but it was not caused by our product. I recommend they investigate their previous and current apartments.
