Dear Revdex.com,This is a situation that we have, a numerous amount of times, tried to resolve with this customerThe customer placed an order for a Metal Building and asked if they could take out contracts, One for the wife and one for the husband in order to be a part of our rent to own program and be
able to pay for the building that they wantedThey did pay $Down payment for the structure with the understanding under written contract that they would have a monthly payment, per contract through our Rent to Own ProgramThe Down payment is only 10% down of the price before taxes and it enables us to start the ordering and fabrication of the building that they orderedThis down payment is non-refundable and clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions on our website : http://www.bargainstructures.com/terms-conditions.html. Our terms and conditions are also clearly readable on the invoices we send out as well as the RTO Contract that our customers sign. We ordered the Metal, Fabricated the building that they ordered, put in the man hours for the fabrication and had a date scheduled with ***'s to Install the buildingA day before it was Delivered and Installed by our company, we received a phone call from Mrs*** saying that they were asked for an additional amount and she did not understand why she was being billed for Delivery and InstallationWe do not charge for Delivery and Installation and we thoroughly explained this herShe had received a courtesy call in regard to her monthly note with our Rent to Own Program, which was clearly explained to Mrs***At this point, she said that she wanted a refundWe told her that we could not possibly refund her the deposit because we had already fabricated the building, custom made to her specifications, it was loaded on the truck and tomorrow was the Installation dateWe told her that we could cancel her Rent to Own Contracts if she liked and consider them VoidWe tried our best to make her happy but she continued to threaten our company and so we told her to call her credit card company, file a complaint and if they found any error in our company, then we would refund the deposit she had placed, regardless of the fact that we had already fabricated it, partially paid our welders and fabricators for the job and we would be out, financially for this custom made orderShe filed it with her credit card company, who denied her request saying that we were within our right to not refund it as it clearly stated it as being Non-refundable on our website and the paperworkShe, then, filed it with law enforcement and that, just as with her credit card company, came to no fault on our end due to the information of any down payment, after a certain amount of days, is not refundable due to the fact that we have already done our job. Please feel free to call me in regard to this situationAs with the Credit Card Company, etcI will furnish any information that you needPlease see our website at the above mentioned link, as it clearly shows what we consistently make our customers aware of.This is extremely unfortunate and if Mrs*** would not have waited until the day before Installation, possibly even a week after the order was place and the Rent to Own contracts were signed, we would have been able to stop the fabrication and not had to go through this but waiting for an extended period of time (waiting until fabrication was complete and her building was loaded and ready to go the next morning to her home), is something that is completely against policy that is clearly written.
