Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond. After receiving the horrible treatment and inflicting emotional damage upon my dog we returned to our regular groomer, [redacted], who confirmed our suspicions that the dog was mistreated and treated with a "shine spray" causing the matting and sticky substance on her back. I did not allow my dog to be shaved because it is NOT recommended for large breeds due to the dangers. I regret trying this business in an attempt to save money, but we were on a budget due to the birth of our daughter. My friend had recommended it, but it seems that they only know how to treat small dogs, which they never communicated. When I said to do their best and not shave my dog, is when they attempted who knows what and washed her several times, despite telling me that washing makes matting worse. Whatever treatment they inflicted upon my dog has left her terrified of baths and groomers in general. I can no longer brush her at home at all. I am seeking a refund because despite the "work" that they put into "caring" for my beloved Great Pyrenees, I had to pay an additional $100 to have her re-groomed. Since this woman had already spoken to me about my dog and seemed more interested in telling me what a terrible owner I was I thought my best option to be disputing through my credit card company to get my money back. If she planned on offering a refund anyway, she could have chose to do it through them and this unpleasantness would have ceased. However she did not, and instead insisted that I am a scam artist, which I am very clearly, not. The insinuation that I am a "scammer and have done this to other businesses in the area" is outrageous and and libel. She has absolutely zero proof, because there is none. "They go to a business, get the service done and then complain all over [redacted], etc., blackmail the business to refund and then they will remove their comments on social media. " This phrase alone is ridiculous. Honestly I believe this to be the first time I have ever asked for a refund on a service because I was so disgusted with the quality of the service performed. I really wanted to be done with this whole business and offered to remove unfavorable reviews if she would just return the money we spent. She agreed to mail a check. Fearing retribution or other scandalous behavior, I provided her the address of my childhood home where my parents still reside and there is a security system in place. I have done nothing illegal and have been nothing but honest and open throughout the whole process. The insinuation that I am harassing her is simply ludicrous. I have never been to her place of business or threatened her, publicly or privately. I have been nothing but professional with her, and she has been nothing but rude to me. Just because she doesn't agree with my reviews and reaction does not make them untruthful or myself a scammer. I have worked in business and customer service for over a decade and if this woman was a true professional she would have performed good customer service and just refunded the money as she said she would. This woman and her business mean nothing to me and I really just want her to do the right thing, honor her word, and issue a refund. I will continue to escalate this through every available channel I have, simply because I believe in good customer service and that people should honor their word to their customers. I am enclosing the communication from the owner that a refund will be sent. Thank you for your time.Regards,[redacted]

On October 8, 2015 the customers Mother brought their dog, a large Great Pyrenees, in for just a bath. Upon intake I noticed the dog was extremely matted all over her body. I recommended the dog be shaved. I called the customer and explained the situation but she stated they were having family...

pictures taken so she did not want her shaved. I told her I would not be able to brush out all of the mats because they were too tight and in sensitive areas on the dogs body which could cause cuts, irritations, and pain. The customer said that's fine and to do my best. Washing mats is not advised as soap could get stuck in the mats and even make them tighter. She said she understood and to continue with the service. I personally spent 4 hours working on this dog. I spent over an hour rinsing our high-end shampoo out of the dog to ensure no soap was left in the mats. Obviously this is not a pleasant experience for the dog. Washing mats is not recommended. The sticky substance the customer claims very likely could have been soap, but I spent a very long time rinsing and re-rinsing very thick mats that I had warned her about. The shampoo was the only product used on this dog. Since we were told to try and brush out the mats, this probably left her skin sensitive and irritated. The customer never tried to contact me in regard to her concerns. Had she done so, I would have gladly offered a refund. Instead she went right to her credit card company who then contacted me. I provided evidence and paperwork leading to the customers own credit card company to side with my business and not to refund her money. Ms[redacted] is a scammer. They have done this to other businesses in the Buffalo area. They go to a business, get the service done and then complain all over [redacted], [redacted], etc., blackmail the business to refund and then they will remove their comments on social media. I initially thought about just sending her the money because of how harassing and horrible her and her husband have been towards me. I then realized the address she gave me to send the check to wasn't even her own and my lawyer advised me not to send anything. So no, I will NOT be refunding these scammers their $65.25 from well over 9 months ago. This is harassment and bordering on illegal activity on her part.
