Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Another excuse At this point I am not threatening, I am just giving you heads up on my course of action Revdex.com hasn't done anything to rectify the situation just like you haven't, so I'm taking this further And after that I will take it further until my situation is resolvedI just don't want other people to go thru the same thing as I didOr at least I want them to have the knowledge of what to expect when dealing with Bark River ConstructionWhere they can be fed with promises and no follow upsI have all of the emails and text messages as proof, so there would be no accusations that I'm trying to discredit your company And I mean all of the emails from the beginning, where I made all of the payments to you on time and you never delivered on time Where you promised to rectify the situation and kept on not showing upWhere I was willing to work with you instead of taking this route and you kept on blaming the weather But when I produced proof to you that there were plenty of days of good weather, you had no reply Where you gave excuses about the weed killer and the rain, but when I provided information contradicting your excuses, you had no replyAnd all you have to say is that I'm a hard person to work with?? I offered to help you with your site, I even configured backup on your phone in good faith that you would take care of the situation And yet, I'm a hard person to work with?? I've given plenty of chances to you to fix this and you kept on blaming everything and everyone I already started fixing my front lawn as you saw the other day when you drove by And it's looking better and better everyday Regards, *** [redacted]

I originally gave you a price for the complete job of rough and final grade.  You decided to have a different contractor do the job.  You then contacted me a second time because you were unhappy with the work that they completed.  You then suggested that we clean up the surface rocks and install a thin layer of topsoil over the existing grade.  We agreed on a price for that scope of work and the work was completed.  You were happy with the work that was completed.  Now I am being accused of bringing rocks to your property, which you know is not true, as you seen all the screened topsoil I had delivered. For me to repair by top dressing the lawn with topsoil and re seed, no weed killer will be used as per your request, the above needs to be agreed upon.   After completion of the repair you are in return to repair my website as you promised, if you do not repair my website to my satisfaction after completion an amount of $900 will be due.I am available to complete the work the week of July 31, 2017.  I need your response and agreement by July 28, 2017 in order to confirm schedule. Please confirm receipt of this email by a return email.I look forward to hearing from you.Thank you,[redacted]

Here's the weather report for months of April, May and June.  Plenty of consecutive days without rain:https://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KMWC/2017/4/1/CustomHistory.ht... are 3 links to the SpeedZone Herbicide that mentiones nothing about needing 24-48 hours of dry weather for it to work.http://gordonsprofessional.com/products-1.php?PRODUCT_CODE=6541126http://ww... a matter of fact, it states that results are visible within 24 hours. Not only that, but regular weed killer took care of the issue and no special chemicals were needed. [redacted] does not mention how huge rocks appeared in high quality topsoil that he brought in.  He also doesn't mention that the original grass was seeded 2 months late in a middle of June or how the topsoil is almost non-existent in some spots. He offers no proof of grass being poorly maintained. Not once have I agreed that it was not Scot's fault, not once have I tried to defame this business. As per my original complaint, I'm willing to wait until the end of June to rectify this. I don't need the weeds to be sprayed, this is something he offered on his own. Another landscaper came in and offered to fix the lawn for $900, I might go this route if this cannot be fixed. In closing, April, May and June had plenty of days of dry weather. This cannot be used as an excuse. I've been patient enough with this and will be patient for a little bit more until the end of this week. I don't even need to be home for this to be fixed. As far as the website goes.  I said I would look at it and would recommend fixes.  As of right now, no credentials have been provided to me to login to look at the site.  And even if they were, I would not look at it until my issues are resolved.

Another excuse.  At this point I am not threatening, I am just giving you heads up on my course of action.  Revdex.com hasn't done anything to rectify the situation just like you haven't, so I'm taking this further.  And after that I will take it further until my situation is resolved. I just don't want other people to go thru the same thing as I did. Or at least I want them to have the knowledge of what to expect when dealing with Bark River Construction. Where they can be fed with promises and no follow ups. 2016:
The owner got the down payment from us, put in 6 hours breaking a hole in the middle of our garage floor, then claimed he would need more money towards the project,After getting more money up front from us he claimed he would not be able to do the project as he contracted with us to do it. When we told him we would hire a contractor to do the job as agreed, he refused to return any of the money we placed in trust with him. All said and done, he refused to return $2,300 which we placed in trust for this project, he only put in 6 hours of work on the job, and he left a huge pile of broken stone & gravel in our driveway & a garage missing half the floor, so we couldn't use either.
We've begun work with the District Attorney towards filing Theft by Contractor charges against the owner of this business and fully intend to have both civil & criminal proceedings started this year against him.
Don't make the same mistake we did. Never give out more than 10% down payment, and never deal with this company or its owner, Scott [redacted].
