Sorry that we or one of our providers made a mistake on the price of a car that was listed and viewed on our website , unfortunately from time to time mistakes are made when posting multiple vehicles and in this case twice , we humbly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you We would like to have an opportunity to have you come in and show you all of our inventory and offer you a great deal on whatever you choose at a discounted price Thanks for alerting us to this so we can try and do a better job to avoid any future mistakes

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In his response he states that what the inspector from the Credit Union say is final. If that is the case under the note in the letter to me that was send to Lexus to response states In the last statement they state that a axle shaft is being replaced, it is not necessary. It that was the case why was the axle replaced. Regards, [redacted]

I am working on a resolution with the customer The old product is supposed to be returned to the customer unless they instruct us otherwise

This was a special puchase for the customer that we purchased from another dealer out of state We currently have the car in the shop checking the car out and when we get the proper diagnostic tests done we will be happy to get back with the customer , thus far the customer has had zero repair cost on this car , only what he choose to have added to the car He has been provided a loaner car evertime its been the shop , we are working hard to try and get the customer back on the road Thanks

This was a special purchase car for the customer and not something that we stock on an everyday basis therefore we are not interested in buying the car , however if he would like to trade it on another vechicle on our lot we would happy to work with him

Ms*** requested a refund and one will be issued for the amount paidThe check will be mailed directly to her*** ***

issues were present the first day I drove the car so I dont understand how a complete inspection would not discover thisthis is just nothing but bad businessin addition to a previous message stating that I didnt have to come out of pocket expenses;this isnt true because they said they would not replace the bad wheel which never existed which led to me spending money on wheeli want to know if you are going to make me pay for the transmission/brake issues the car seems to have like you made me responsible for the wheel purchasei would like to know how these people would feel with the shoe on the other foot

On April 4, the sales department brought said vehicle to the service department needing an estimate to repair the volt power pointDuring writeup the service consultant noticed that there were two open recalls on the vehicleThe estimate was given to and approved by our Used Car
Manager and the repairs were performedThe vehicle was given back to the salesperson who had the vehicle delivered back to the customerAt some point during the week of October 3, Ms*** called stating that she needed to have her vehicle picked up and a loaner dropped offI questioned her about what concerns she had and she stated that the floor boards were soaking wet and that she had a full warranty on the vehicleI explained to her that we would have to perform a diagnosis and call the warranty company to see if the needed repair was coveredShe stated that she was told that everything on the vehicle was covered and she needed it picked up and a loaner dropped off and that she should not be responsible for anything that the warranty did not coverI also stated to her that we did not have the capability to pick up and deliver out of stateAt this time she indicated that her salesman told her that anytime she needed service that it would be picked up and a loaner dropped offThis is not part of our vehicle delivery and it is not our policy to pickup and deliver out of stateThe customer called back and stated that she had taken the vehicle to the Toyota Dealership in Monroe, Laand they cleaned the A/C drainShe states that she wants this repair paid for and that she wants the cost of drying the carpet paid forI, at a service department level will agree to PAY $of the cost to clean the A/C drains and our New Car Manager will agree to pay up to $toward the cost to dry the carpet.

first I will say that this is the worst experience I have ever had in my lifei still cant get over them selling me this car that had problems on the first day of me receivingthis car was a special purchase for a reasonyou have nothing on your lot that will satisfy mefurthermore, I bought rims and tires for this vehicle that I am still paying for so I am stuck with this model even though it is still ultimately what I wantwhat makes these people think I have money to waste buying rims for one car due to your poor customer service then losing money for a trade in because you not going to give me what my car is worth or what I paid for it

We have not charged for any mechanical issue thus far , we have replaced the rear brakes at no charge and we do not foresee the customer having to pay for any mechanical repairs Hope this puts the customer at ease !

Thank you for the email responseI have reviewed Ms***'s request and am unable to offer a billing adjustmentI would like to offer a refund of the previously paid charges if Ms*** would prefer, otherwise we stand ready to replace the pre-ordered part as per the details of the previously established appointmentThank You,

To whom it may concern at the Revdex.com of Mississippi,
class="MsoNormal" "margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Thanks for your letter inquiring about ID ***This customer purchased an extended warranty from a credit union and not our dealershipThe said credit union sent out an inspector to inspect this customer’s vehicle to determine if they would be responsible for any repairs
Upon taking pictures and inspecting the CV joint/axle as both names refer to the same partThe customers extended warranty declined to pay for the repairsIt does not matter what our opinion of the situation is as a dealership, our personnel or any employee working hereThe final verdict and resolution lies with the customers extended warranty that he purchased and not with our dealership
The customer needs to contact his extended warranty if he feels they should be payingIt has been my experience over the past years that CV joints and axles are not covered by extended warrantiesThey consider this part to be a wear and tear item such as brakes or a battery
Once again it is strictly this customers extended warranty and not our dealership that has turned him downNaturally as a business entity we would love for his extended warranty to approve these repairs
However it is their money they are spending and strictly their call
Thank you,

To whom it may concern at the Revdex.com of Mississippi

Our company would like to point out that Mr. [redacted] was aware of the fact that his extended warranty turned his axle or cv joint down for the boot being busted which is customary for most extended warranty companies. Mr. [redacted] still choose to go ahead and replace the axle or cv joint.

An axle or cv joint has a boot around it to hold grease and to allow the axle or cv joint to move when the steering is turned right or left.

This boot can become damaged from something hitting it on the highway or simply over time. Think of a paper clip and the action that happens to the paper clip if it is bent back and forth a few times. The clip breaks and so does the axle boot. The break on an axle boot is generally in one of the cracks.

As indicated by the extended warranty inspector and by his indication of the pictures taken for their inspection, the axle boot was busted open therefore allowing the grease to sling out of the boot. This is considered a normal wear and tear item. Once the grease is slung out of the axle or cv joint, dirt, road grime, and debris collect inside the exposed cv joint very quickly which makes the joint go bad, not to mention the grease is being slung out at the same time which makes the axle or cv joint gears deteriorate even quicker.

I am the Service Director and after 25 years of replacing these axles or cv joints. It is standard procedure to replace the cv joint instead of replacing a boot. The labor to replace the part as it connects to the transmission is not worth taking a chance on simply replacing the boot.

Mr. [redacted] had the option of not replacing this axle or cv joint or going ahead and replacing the axle or cv joint. He chose to replace the axle or cv joint and agreed to the cost.

As stated above we only replace axles or cv joints because once the boot is busted open, due to elements, the whole axle or cv joint will need to be replaced going into the transmission.

We have reviewed the repairs on our side and feel like they are justified. We do not feel we owe Mr. [redacted] a refund as he authorized the repairs and paid the bill which was an indication of his approval. The axle or cv joint was bad and he opted to replace it.

Thanks again,
[redacted]
