Company attempts to upcharge home warranties for what they call “fabrication” or pipe movement without even seeing the job. I live in a new home and there’s no reason any pipe should need to be moved.

Dan from Barker Services came to take care of some plumbing issues that were found during a home inspection. He called ahead of time to let me know what time to expect him. He arrived right on time. I showed him the inspection report and he set to work right away addressing each issue. I followed along, and he showed me where the problem was and explained why it happened and how he would fix it. I learned a lot! He was very courteous and cordial. I have nothing but compliments for the entire experience, from Angela calling and setting up the appointment to the work that Dan did, and I would not hesitate to use the services of this company again. Thank you.

They provided a great service, was fast, professional and worked around other contractors working. Highly recommend to anyone needing plumbing services

Very unprofessional. HSA hired this company to replace my pressure relief valve when he finished he ended up clogging my Sink pipes with debris. Now my kitchen sink doesnt work and they refuse to take responsibility/ and or replace the faucet they clogged.

Here at Barker Plumbing, we take each issue with the utmost respect to the customer, whether its good or bad. We are contractors for AHS/HSA home warranty companies. On this day, we were dispatched to customers home on a water heater complaint. The tech diagnosed issue as being a leaking relief valve. He called the issue in and received autho to replace relief valve. He shut the water off and drained the heater about 3-4 inches and replaced relief valve, turned water back on and he flushed the lines out at the laundry tub while the home owner flushed the lines to the rest of the home, he has little ones sleeping in the upper part of the home, he said he would take care of those. Once completed the tech confirmed with customer, finished his invoice, and he went to next job. Customer called later that day or next morning and advised the kitchen sink faucet was not working, we made appointment at that time and had tech head back over to job. On arrival the tech checked faucet, removed aerator no debree, checked and flushed supply lines to faucet, still no water from faucet. The tech made an attempt to take faucet apart and found the insides of the faucet where corroded very bad, and he could not take apart without possible damage. The tech explained the situation to customer, advised them to call AHS/HSA to check on faucet coverage. Customer did not have faucet coverage and became very outraged. The house is on the older side and piped with galvanized piping, unfortunately we cannot stop debree from forming inside of the old piping system and when the water was off it moved around through out the system causing a stoppage at the kitchen sink faucet. We did everything in our power to help homeowner with the issue at no charge and unfortunately their AHS/HSA policy did not cover faucets, again this was explained to customer by AHS/HSA reps. We offered to replace faucet for Mr. Hernandez at a charge, but he was again outraged at the issue. The tech again tried to explain to him about the old pipes but he did not want to hear it. We try to make all of our customers happy, customer service is our number one priority. Unfortunately not all situations can be explained before hand, and we understand his frustration but we can not avoid these situations with older piping in older homes. We would be more than happy to help resolve the issue with the customer, but we cannot be held responsible for the debree in the old water lines in which we cannot control.
