Not a quality builder and would not recommendAt about 9pm at night the carbon dioxide detectors started to go off telling us to vacate the house. At this time I notified the builder and he told me to vacuum out the carbon dioxide detectors. we just got done using the oven and we noticed that the house had a strong gas smell so be decided the right decision was to call the fire department. also my wife and I were both light headed. When we called the department they came and said we had high readings of carbon dioxide in our house. We have only been living in this house for a couple days. in addition we had to call a company to come check the furnace because the fire department said it was faulty. The next day the furnace company came and told us the oven that the builder put in was installed improperly and the furnace was sucking gas threw the house. The builder then sent his plumber over to fix the oven because it was set up for natural gas instead of propane. the builder then told us they are not going to pay the bill for the furnace company to come out and check. n this builder has not followed threw on many different issues. I could go on for hours...I wouldn't recommend this builder. the head guy [redacted] is very difficult to get a hold of and his for man is not very reliable. he says he is going to do stuff and never does. an example would be the hvac vents. when we moved in they were filthy and still have plaster and dust sitting in them. this is a brand new house and they were never cleaned we have been in the house for 2 weeks and the gutters still are not done. my wife and I have been stressed out beyond belief with this house. we also have a neighbor that is not happy as well and is contacting her lawyer for issues in her house. Desired Settlementthe builder must be held responsible for the furnace company bill. I am going to contact my lawyer about the safety issues of the house and I would like to meet with the building inspector again. I aspect the builder to pay for the building inspector because at this time we feel the house isn't safe.Business Response To whom it may concern,In regards to Complaint Case # XXXXXX - Consumer: Mr [redacted]- Case Opened: XXXX-XX-XX, we have been in constant contact with Mr. [redacted] and have been working with him to address any concerns he may have. The oven which had been properly converted from natural gas to propane use was not burning properly due to a manufactures defect. This is a item which is covered by the appliance manufacturer and is being resolved by them for Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] has not received a bill by the HVAC company or any contractor in regards to any warranty work which has taken place at his home.Since receiving this Revdex.com complaint, we have discussed this complaint with Mr. [redacted] and he has agreed to withdraw his complaint but has been told that he cannot until we respond to the complaint. We have been unable to respond the this complaint on the Revdex.com website because it appear to be down.
