Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/03) */ Regarding Case # XXXXXXXX Our first contact with this customer was when he brought his Ford Coupe into Barnes Automotive to have it repairedThe customer was very satisfiedHe picked up his Coupe and dropped off his Plymouth Road Runner to be repaired by Barnes Automotive as wellMr [redacted] then asked if we knew any company that could sell his vehicle, we recommended [redacted] CarsMr [redacted] agreed and also signed a day consignment agreement with [redacted] CarBarnes Automotive was asked to evaluate the vehicle to see what repairs would be needed for the sale of the vehicleThe vehicle had been in storage for an extended period of time in TexasThe vehicle was trailered into Barnes AutomotiveAt that point, the vehicle was evaluated and all the repairs needed were discussed with Mr [redacted] several timesMr [redacted] approved and agreed to all repairs that were performed to the vehicle verbally with Barnes Once the vehicle was repaired according to the agreement through Mr [redacted] and Barnes, [redacted] Car began the consignment processDuring that process, [redacted] Car placed the Plymouth Road Runner up for saleOnce the vehicle was listed with the specific details provided by Mr [redacted] , [redacted] Car started receivng responses advising that the information on the ad was inaccurate in regards to specifications of the vehicleAs a result, [redacted] Cars removed the post for inaccurate information provided by Mr [redacted] Once the post was removed, Mr [redacted] became irrational with both Barnes Automotive and [redacted] CarMr [redacted] refused to pay for the repairs that were done by Barnes Automotive and demanded that his vehicle was returned to himMr [redacted] then started making accusations against Barnes Automotive regarding the repairs that were done to the vehicle as being unauthorizedAs previously stated, the customer verbally agreed to all repairs done to the vehicle before anything was done to it per Barnes Automotive policyBarnes Automotive agreed to release the vehicle to Mr [redacted] under the agreement that the repair bill was paid in full per services were rendered in fullMr [redacted] did contact the local police in regards to this matter and was also advised by them he would need to pay for the repairs that were completedMr [redacted] did agree to sign the work order, provide a copy of his drivers license and sign the credit card slip when he initially spoke with the policeWhen Mr [redacted] arrived at Barnes Automotive, he refused to sign the work order or provide a copy of his drivers license per his agreement with the PoliceMr [redacted] did sign the credit card slip authorizing the chargeMr [redacted] advised that he would pay for the repairs that were done but would not sign the work order or provide his drivers license because he did not want to release any more personal informationThe vehicle was still under the day consignment agreement from [redacted] Car that the customer signed at Barnes Automotive during all of the above events listedThere were no parts stolen and the damages clamied were already there Thank You, Barnes Automotive
