Review: I contacted [redacted] about his services he posted on [redacted] for changing color of my vehicle.we agreed on 500$ and it would be done in a day and the paint will be glossy as one other car he had showed me. I agreed to this price and dropped my car off to him on Thursday February 19th. (note my car gas level was just underneath half a tank).I Kept in contact with [redacted] most of the day and he let me know he was "fixing" alot of dents and scratches before painting the vehicle. I had not asked for any bodywork to be done to my vehicle just paint. [redacted] had told me it would be done the following day because there was alot to be repaired. Friday came along and the car was still not done. He stated he was still fixing the car, and it would not be ready until Saturday morning.My wife and I went to pick up the car Saturday, the paint was not shiny at all like [redacted] had stated. The paint was looked as if there was no clear coat on the car at all, there was missing paint in some areas of the car,there was chipped new paint already on some spots. Along with the paint not being what he said it would be, my gas light was on and the car had been driven alot, almost half a tank of gas was used. [redacted] had stated his employee took the car to the paint shop, but they didn't asked permission to drive my car around "joyriding it" and use half a tank of gas. [redacted] said the car needs to be wet sanded and buffed to be shiny again.I worked in the autobody field previous to the service I know it would not solve the gloss look we wanted. the car was a matte white color.I wetsanded the car myself and buffed it and it still was not shiny. just a day after we picked up the car my wife and I noticed alot more chips of paint that just had flaked off and didn't even stick to the car. we asked [redacted] if he could fix what we paid for and make it shiny and solve all the spots where paint had just "fallen" off.he denied all messages sent to him and would not fix anything on the car for us.I have the entire conversation saved on my phoneDesired Settlement: I would just like my 500$ returned, I paid for a glossy paint job and I did not receive what I paid for. I would just like my money back so I can take my car somewhere else to be painted.
