I took my car in for a oil change and everything was fine with my car on the way to the dealership. During the oil change service, the service Rep came back with a list of repairs needed. One of the repairs was that I had a sever coolant leak in my radiator. So I tell the service Rep that I will work on getting the leak fixed later. Being that I didn't have a coolant leak on the way to the dealership, I didn't take it that serious. To make a long story short, I left the dealership with only a oil change service completed. I starte out to go home thinking everything was ok. Remind you I live in fayetteville ga and the drive to the dealership is at least 40 minutes which is located in chamblee. Within 10 minutes of driving home, my low coolant light message came on and my smoke was coming from my car on the highway. I had to get of the highway and pull into a nearby gas station. There was a mechanic conveniently at the gas station. He look at the leak and determine the leak was coming from the side wall of the radiator. He also stated that it appears the plastics section on the radiator was hit. I had to get my car towed to a trustworthy mechanic I know to replace my radiator for $200. But dyer and dyer quoteed me $900.

CUSTOMER BEWARE! The mechanics at this dealer is intentionally causing mechanical issues with people car to get customers to spend more money. Tapping your radiator with a screw driver and hammer is a common practice for return customers.

I make this statement because there is no way I can drive from fayetteville ga. To chamblee and have no issues. But as soon as I leave the dealership my car overheats and spring a leak??? That's impossible!

Illegal Sales Practices towards Women Customers
THREE WEEKS AGO-I wanted to purchase a used car from Dyer & Dyer. Over three weeks, multiple D&D salespeople, marketing people pursued me to purchase, calling several times a week.
SATURDAY-I decided to buy the car.
SATURDAY-My financing was approved the same day. The sales manager approached me, shook my hand, and said “We had a deal”.
However, I wouldn’t take delivery without a mechanical inspection from a 3rd party. Dyer & Dyer would not accept a deposit to hold the car until the mechanical inspection was completed, "either take the car or take your chances".
MONDAY-Dyer & Dyer agreed to a mechanical inspection on WED @ 4p.
WEDNESDAY @ 12n- Dyer & Dyer confirmed the appt. @ 4p.
WEDNESDAY @ 4P-I entered D&D to take the used car to the inspection.
I was told, "Sorry, a Man is buying the car right now." When I asked the salesperson why he didn't call me to cancel the appt.? "Well, we just approved his financing." I reminded the salesman, my financing was approved FIVE days prior. His response, "yes, well..."
The sales manager made the decision to give the car to a man who just walked in, versus a woman he made a sales agreement with five days prior. In the last five hours, I've heard multiple stories from other women, of similar experiences. Dyer & Dyer management makes exclusions or sales restrictions on the basis of sex: If a sale is between a Woman or man, the sales manager will give the deal to the Man. That's discrimination and that's against the law.
