After finding our vehicle missing last week, we contacted the Sheriff's office to report it stolen and were advised that our vehicle was towed overnightThe towing company stated it was on the grass, which was against the rules of our HOA, and they supposedly had photographic proofWhen we arrived, they allowed their 'proof' to be briefly viewed, but it clearly showed that our car was not parked on the grass, all four tires being on the pavementThey refused to allow the photographs to be examined or copied, continued to resist any reason, and would not release the car without a $impound feeThe attendant cursed at the owner of the car, a senior citizen, and was both verbally and physically violent to herThe Sheriff's office was again called, and the company still would not release the vehicle, even though the photograph mentioned earlier, plus additional photos provided by the company to the deputies, still reflected the vehicle being on the pavement, and not anywhere near the grassIt was only after the deputies filed a report that the company agreed to release the vehicle, but doing so only after insisting that we sign a covenant not to sueWhile we will honor our agreement not to pursue litigation against the company ourselves, we are bringing the matter to both cities of Bradenton and Palmetto, the County of Manatee, the State of Florida, along with local media outlets, and are insisting that the HOA revoke the agreements allowing this company into our community even to pursue legitimate parking complaints, using the report filed by the authorities as proofOur in-laws had a similar experience a few months ago with this same company towing a vehicle from a guest-designated parking spot while they were visiting familyThis company is running a scam whereby they illegally seize vehicles for no reason, and demand an exorbitant fee in order to release them

This company needs to be classified as a predator that prey on the innocent and vulnerable I was visiting my children and I parked in a vacant space that did not indicate that it was a towing zoneI arrived at 11pm and was leaving at 1pm they had towed my vehicle and charged me $to get it backWhat THUGS are this hard up for cashGod will judge!!!!
