I was going to file a complaint...however after investigating this company I have decided I would not likely ever do business with them so a review would be a better idea.
I contacted Barrnetts earlier this week to order a 500 gal propane tank (leased) delivered to my farm in Cochise. I was sent forms to fill out and send back including a credit check and prepayment form. Took care of that right away. Asked about the propane remaining in my smaller tanks and was told I should use that gas first as they could not move it to the new tank.
Prior to phoning the company I did visit their website and saw that I am in their service area and that they service all of southern Az (yup I live in southern AZ as well).
I get an email message from [redacted] two days later stating that "
After reviewing your location our manager has determined we do not deliver that far out in Cochise. Our apologies. We recommend Cochise Co-op."
I responded with geez I guess your website showing me in your service area is misleading and incorrect. I also asked for the info on Cochise Co-op (I had never heard of them) so that I might contact them for service. [redacted] advised she was sorry and that they do not have that information. I still have not located the info.
Basically I am very disappointed in the way the company advertises one thing and then does another with little concern for the prospective customer. Take my advice...shop somewhere else. K.C.
