Hi, I am writing to inform the Revdex.com that the dispute between myself and Carville's Auto Mart has been resolved and can you please remove the complaint or indicate that the dispute has been settled.Thank you for your help

***, your sales representative Rose was correct that the 5th wheel that you purchased did not come with a T.Vor sound bar and it was priced accordingly for not having this original equipment You are correct that it did come from the factory with these installed but it was stolen while it was on display at the dealership, not removed by the dealer The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of the Primetime Crusader 5th Wheel you purchased was $and we had a sale price of $as equipped without the TV and sound bar Through negotiations you purchased the 5th wheel at $29641, AS IS, without the TV or sound bar, $below M.S.R.P It was never agreed at the time of sale that we would provide you with these items which you were okay with until you called the manufacturer and they said it was factory installed equipment You later wanted us to provide you these after the negotiated price where we did verbally agree we would provide with a TV and sound bar but you also wanted us to do a $hitch for your truck so you could pull your new fifth wheel Since we had already deeply discounted the fifth wheel and not factored in the additional requests you were asking we informed you we were unable to do both of these requested items as a courtesyWe did offer you the option that we would do the hitch but would not do the TV and sound bar if choose to go that route Being the hitch was considerably more you choose us to provide you with the hitch installed and not do the TV and sound bar which cost the dealership $after the hitch was installed at Colorado Customs Since then you have been contacting the dealership several times about the TV and sound bar and staying with our agreement we informed you that we would provide you with these items if you wanted to exchange it for the hitch that we installed These requests were both courtesy items that Carville's Auto Mart was willing to help you with after the sale and not required by any legal binding contracts We are still willing to do one of the courtesy items you requested, so if you would like us to provide a TV and sound bar you may bring the hitch back we had installed to the dealership and we will get the TV and sound bar for you

[redacted] , after speaking with you and reviewing the events that took place is apparent you were well aware you were co signing for your son [redacted] *** [redacted] called you from the dealership and talked to you about co signing for an automobile he was interested in and you agreed to help by co signing He then handed his cell phone to Nick who took all of your information from you including SSN#, birth date, residence information and work information to obtain financing The fact you were applying for credit to help your son get financing for a vehicle does not effect your credit score, but the recent derogatory credit most likely did Per our conversation the last time you had checked your credit was in March of when you applied for car credit at *** Since then you had multiple late payments on your [redacted] installment loan, and you are currently past due payments on your credit card Other things such as taking on a new car payment increasing your debt to income can also effect your credit scoreSince you have not seen your credit score since taking on the new car payment and with the recent derogatory credit these events are the reasons your score have dropped Furthermore there are several reporting agencies which scores are vary between all sources You had mentioned that you are basing your changed credit score from credit wise a site provided by your credit card company, this is not what a dealership looks at to obtain financing The score you received from [redacted] in would have been from a Trans Union, Equifax, or Experian You had stated you now are a on credit wise but those scores differ from what we pulled for Trans Union a 599, on Equifax, and on a Experian So as you can see all scores vary greatly depending on what site you use.A credit inquiry is not a hit to your credit but your recent derogatory payments will have effected your credit score Carville's Auto Mart did not make those late payments on your credit, it is up to you to maintain a good payment history We would be more than happy discuss ways to improve your credit but only you can repair the recent damage you have done by those untimely paymentsIf you have any other questions please contact the dealership and we would be more than happy to assist you

***, we have helped you out with your Chevy Equinox that you purchased nearly a year ago from us for $numerous times with no out of pocket expense to yourself The items that we have covered were not warranty items and done as a courtesy at the dealers expense We have
replace door panel pieces for you, catalytic converter, repaired windshield wipers, and diagnosed and repaired the evap leak codes when your check engine light came on Again these were all done at dealers expense on items not covered by warranty on a year old vehicle we helped you finance in house and being purchased as is When you called at the end of August months after owning the vehicle and had a concern about the smell of fuel and again we helped by repaired the broken fuel line at no cost to you Later you did call saying the fuel gauge was not working properly and we scheduled you in to diagnose the problem After examining the vehicle and the owner personally driving the vehicle we could not find any issues with the fuel gauge What is puzzling is that was on October when Royce C*** inspected your vehicle and we did not hear back from you until December 23rd when you called the dealership because your check engine light just came on while driving and during that call there was no mention of anything about a fuel gauge with our salesmen Zach who took the message for service ***, we do are very best to help all customers with unforeseen repairs that might happen with their vehicles but you must understand we cannot maintain everyone's vehicle after owning it for over a year You do have a warranty that covers major mechanical but will not cover wear and tear and maintenance items We would be more than happy to get you a great shop rate and cost on parts to save you money but at some point you must take responsibility for maintaining your own vehicle

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: everything you disclosed is a lie! I was told the sound Bar was defective by Lucas and was supposed to be replaced under warranty. I was also told by Lucas that he would order the TV that was originally installed by the factory, after contacting the factory, I was informed that the TV was never ordered, again a lie by Lucas. After researching the cost of a 5th wheel hitch, they sell for about $250.00. Why would I set up a bundle deal of a 5th wheel and a truck and not be able to pull the rig home? I was also told that the cost of installing the hitch was $1000, another lie by this dealership.. I can afford to buy my own T.vand sound bar, the reason I am complaining is because of all the lies I was told by the dealer. I plan on disclosing all the misleading tactics that this dealer has done thru word of mouth and social media as well as com9paining to the Grand Junction chamber of commerce?

The dealership does not offer loaner carsOur insurance policy doesn't have that coverage nor do we have plates that would allow a customer to legally drive our lot vehicles for non demo purposes, per state law We were not denying him his request it just was not an option to provideThe car
was at a shop in ***,CO and as soon as Carville's was made aware of the mechanical issues we addressed them in a timely matterWe got the customer an engine and took care of his car payment for the month he did not have his vehicleThe warranty is valid and active for his coverage periodThe warranty did cover the engine in his vehicle and the general manager assisted in finding the customer a engine to help speed up the warranty processAt no time has any coverage been denied or poor customer service been delivered by our staffWe cannot control the issue of another dealership time frame in fixing the engineBut what we could control we did extend our help once we were notified and even offered to pick the vehicle up and bring it back to our shop to fix for the customer to speed things upThe customer denied our offer so the vehicle remained at the shop of his choice under their time frame and their guidelinesWe have been in contact with the customer and is happy with his repaired vehicle and our customer service we provided him once we were aware of his problemThe customer has the General Mgr, Matt F* cell phone number to contact him directly with any further problems or concerns

signing.  He then handed his cell phone to Nick who took all of your information from you including SSN#, birth date, residence information and work information to obtain financing.  The fact you were applying for credit to help your son get financing for a vehicle does not effect your credit score, but the recent derogatory credit most likely did.  Per our conversation the last time you had checked your credit was in March of 2015 when you applied for car credit at [redacted].  Since then you had multiple late payments on your [redacted] installment loan, and you are currently past due 2 payments on your credit card.  Other things such as taking on a new car payment increasing your debt to income can also effect your credit score. Since you have not seen your credit score since taking on the new car payment and with the recent derogatory credit these events are the reasons your score have dropped.  Furthermore there are several reporting agencies which scores are vary between all sources.  You had mentioned that you are basing your changed credit score from credit wise a site provided by your credit card company,  this is not what a dealership looks at to obtain financing.  The score you received from [redacted] in 2015 would have been from a Trans Union, Equifax, or Experian.  You had stated you now are a 546 on credit wise but those scores differ from what we pulled for Trans Union a 599, 612 on Equifax, and 620 on a Experian.  So as you can see all scores vary greatly depending on what site you use.A credit inquiry is not a hit to your credit but your recent derogatory payments will have effected your credit score.  Carville's Auto Mart did not make those late payments on your credit, it is up to you to maintain a good payment history.  We would be more than happy discuss ways to improve your credit but only you can repair the recent damage you have done by those untimely payments. If you have any other questions please contact the dealership and we would be more than happy to assist you.

The [redacted]'s made a custom order Coachmen Apex Camper and signed a purchase agreement on 4/1/2017.  This was a special request and due to the costs incurred by the Dealership all custom orders require a non-refundable $5,000 deposit. Special arrangements were granted for the [redacted]'s on this...

order and Carville's agreed to a non-refundable $1,000 deposit at time of signing. The customers were made aware that it takes 4-8 weeks for special orders to arrive at the dealership and be inspected for delivery. The [redacted]s agreed to this time frame as well as the deposit terms. No specific dates where given to the [redacted]s due to the fact that production times and transportation can vary. Carville's continually kept in contact with the [redacted]'s through text and phone conversations of the status of their order. The unit arrived within the agreed upon time frame. The customers were made aware that the unit had arrived and they decided that they no longer wanted the unit. At this time they spoke with two different managers; Darin C[redacted], General Manager; Matt F[redacted], Sales Manager; and Lucas H[redacted], sales associate. The customers requested that they be released from the Purchase commitment, and agreed that the $1,000 deposit be kept for expenses incurred by the dealership.  These were the terms that the customers agreed upon for breach of their contract.  Carville's made an exception on retaining only the minimum deposit and released the [redacted]'s from the Purchase commitment with no further legal action. The issue was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties concerned.

[redacted], we have helped you many times with the issues you that you were having with your car. Just in dealer expenses we have done over $2500 in work at no cost to you on your 2004 PT Cruiser. These repairs were non covered items as well as you went over on the basic power train warranty of 12...

months/12000 miles that we helped financed for you at $995. Since you owned the PT Cruiser we show you have put 13,618 miles in just 7 months with no maintenance records showing up keep on your vehicle and now have let it repossess after writing a bad check for payment and going over 30 days past due. Looking back we helped you considerably when you originally came to us and purchased a Mazda RX8 in August of 2015. Unfortunately you lost your job during the funding process and the bank would no longer provide financing since you were not working. You drove the RX8 for over a monthbefore you brought it back to us and we waived the day and mileage usage fees and helped you get into another vehicle by financing you in house on the 2004 PT Cruiser even though you did not have a job. As you stated the car was great in the beginning which was 5 months (not 2 months) of owning it then on 2/24/16 you brought it in to us for an overheating problem after putting over 9,000 miles on it since you purchased it on 9/24/2015. We repaired the radiator and diagnosed an air bubble in the system, and that seemed to take care of the issues until after another 1000 miles on it and on 3/10/16 you brought it back to us again for overheating. At that time we spent $2108 on replacing the radiator, water pump, timing belt and an engine mount all at Carville's Auto Mart's expense to help you since these were non covered items. Again the car was fine for a little over a month and another 1000 miles later when you started having issues of it using excessive oil and smoking. We had it taken to an outside facility on 4/15/2016 who could get a diagnosis sooner so we could get it repaired for you. The diagnostic was that it had a bad turbo and it was blowing oil through the top of the engine thou later inspections show that it was not the turbo but the valve cover gasket. I spoke with the owner of the shop and he stated he told you not to drive the vehicle until it was fixed because it was losing so much oil. Not taking his recommendation you drove the vehicle for another month and putting 2258 miles on it in that condition before bringing it to us on 5/19/2016 with oil covering the windshield which is when we did a valve cover gasket for you. We made a agreement that we would do it at our dealer cost of $280 and we would take a hold check but you needed to for it pay it since you now have owned the car for 7 months and put 13,419 miles on it. However, instead of giving us the check you took off with the car without paying for the repairs. At this point you wrote a bad check to us for payment, were over 30 days late and skipped out on the repair bill and we were still trying to help. Since that repair you drove the car 200 more miles before it failed which is most likely due to the 2258 miles driven when advised not to with the major oil leak from the valve cover gasket and running with little to no oil for that last month. You could also show no oil changes or service for the last 7 months and 13618 miles you put on the vehicle. At this point I feel there is not much I can help with now being you told us you will not be paying for the car and let it repossess.

[redacted], your sales representative Rose was correct that the 5th wheel that you purchased did not come with a T.V. or sound bar and it was priced accordingly for not having this original equipment.  You are correct that it did come from the factory with these installed but it was stolen while it...

was on display at the dealership, not removed by the dealer.  The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of the Primetime Crusader 5th Wheel you purchased was $41422 and we had a sale price of $37068 as equipped without the TV and sound bar.  Through negotiations you purchased the 5th wheel at  $29641, AS IS, without the TV or sound bar, $11781 below M.S.R.P.  It was never agreed at the time of sale that we would provide you with these items which you were okay with until you called the manufacturer and they said it was factory installed equipment.  You later wanted us to provide you these after the negotiated price where we did verbally agree we would provide with a TV and sound bar but you also wanted us to do a $1000 hitch for your truck so you could pull your new fifth wheel.  Since we had already deeply discounted the fifth wheel and not factored in the additional requests you were asking we informed you we were unable to do both of these requested items as a courtesy. We did offer you the option that we would do the hitch but would not do the TV and sound bar if choose to go that route.  Being the hitch was considerably more you choose us to provide you with the hitch installed and not do the TV and sound bar which cost the dealership $1600 after the hitch was installed at Colorado Customs.  Since then you have been contacting the dealership several times about the TV and sound bar and staying with our agreement we informed you that we would provide you with these items if you wanted to exchange it for the hitch that we installed.  These requests were both courtesy items that Carville's Auto Mart was willing to help you with after the sale and not required by any legal binding contracts.  We are still willing to do one of the courtesy items you requested, so if you would like us to provide a TV and sound bar you may bring the hitch back we had installed to the dealership and we will get the TV and sound bar for you.
