Review: In mid February 2013 I placed an order with Sales Associate for Barns.Com- Shane Brewer via phone for a 22x28x9 metal building. This order was placed within week of 2/18- 2/22. I was told by Mr. Brewer that I had to make a 10% down payment by a certain date (2/19/13) in order to lock in the quoted price of the building for $4860.00. I completed a payment transaction of $486.00 (withdrawn from my checking account by Barns.com on 2/26/13) at that time to Shane Brewer/ Barns.Com. I placed this order under the impression via Barns.com advertising ( via written statements as well as internet advertising and oral statements from Barns.com Sales Associate Shane Brewer and Indiana scheduler [redacted] at [redacted])that I would receive free delivery and installation within a timely matter of 1-4 weeks average. It is now June 4 2013 and still no building. I have called Barns.com several times requesting a refund of $486.00 with no response other than the supervisor is on lunch break and he will call you back when he returns. I called and left message 3 times prior to when I began keeping track of my calls and also on 5/2/13- spoke to operator with no return call, 5/30/13- spoke to operator with no return call from supervisor, and on 6/4/13- spoke to operator and was again told by the operator "the supervisor is on lunch break- call back or leave a message and he will return your call".My calls have been avoided and unanswered and I feel the business practices and ethnics of Barns.com and it's sales associates are unprofessional and fraudulent.I will never do any kind of business with this company and would strongly advise anyone else from doing so also unless you want your money stolen. I feel like I was pressured into placing a down payment by a certain date on a building by Barns.com sales representatives in order to get my building at a discounted prices and now I am minus $486.00.The business address I have for Barns.com is : Barns.com, P.O.
