purchased Rogue 3-1-as of 6/2/needed both front and back brake pads,,, belt replacement belt cracked, heat shield needed to be welded I notices a vibration at test drive was told needed new tires which they gave me vibration not going away took back on 3/mechanic said suppose to be that way
also day of purchase told me after signing papers only one key to get another is then told me at last minute additional fees of they also increased the price after I said I wanted to see the car later after complaining they lowered the price will not return emails I was told the cars are always checked out before selling this was not done as of today I have dollars in repairs the axle is next to be repaired due to the vibration in front end!!!!

On May,XX XXXX. I went to Baron Auto Sales on 195 River Street to give them a deposit of $100.00. One hundred dollars for a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. [redacted] one of the [redacted] told me 0K. this vehicle is yours. This vehicle was offer to me for the amount of $3,500. After I checked the Jeep,I went there three times. I talked to their mechanic and we came out with a plan to fix it.The vehicle was for sale at Is because it had several mechanical issues like check engine light air bag light,red brake light on the dash board,due to a faulty rear brake drum cylinder and brake lines. I told them I would be back with the rest of the money on friday to pick up the vehicle. I went on line looking for parts and I was looking to sell my car also. when I arrived to the dealer site with the rest of the money in my pocket. For my surprise when I passed ** the Jeep, it had State of Connecticut plates on it. They had sold the Jeep may be at the original amount of $3,995 it was for sale before. A breach of contract just took place. I would be willing to forget about the settlement and pay for the replacement. If not I will file complaints everywhere I can, and I would consider to take legal action once the lawyer return from a conference trip to Canada.

I bought a car and they never told me until after I took it that he got it at an auction and never checked it out in the garage.I brought the car in to them and explained the overheating and they claimed to put in a new radiator thermostat. It overheated on the way home and I stopped at my mechanic and he said take it back..looks like head gasket. I towed the car back and they kept it a few more days and told me they put head gaskets in it. It still overheated. I kept calling them and they wouldnt pick up the phone. Finally when I got them my 30 days were up. I have tried several times to call them and the phones they use have caller id and they dont pick up or retun my calls. I recently took it to my mechanic and he said the head gaskets were never replaced and it would cost me over $1000 to fix it and the car isnt even worth $1000. I am an older woman who went in with my tax money and told him I had $2500 to spend and was completely taken advantage of. I am now stuck with a car that wont work and I cant afford another one. He knows that. I also had to pay for some of the work and I do have reciepts if needed. They made me feel uncomfortable.Desired SettlementI would like them to replace the car with one that has been completely looked over and is certain to be safe and I would also like an apology.

dealer is taking too long to make repairs.Auto was purchased on X-XX-XXXX delivered on 3-20-2014. Auto is a 2003 ford taurus SES with 30 day warrenty. Agreement with sales person [redacted] was to have their mechanic inspect the car before delivery and provide us with a sheet of the items that were repaired or inspected. On date of delivery X-XX-XXXX vehicle was paid for and delivered in absolute filthy condition inside and out. trash inside,not vacuumed and not washed.On X-XX-XXXX I removed the front and rear wheels to inspect the brakes.Upon my finding I found that the right rear wheel cylinder was leaking (brake fluid) and needed to be replaced. I also inspected the air filter and that too needed to be replaced. My conclusion is that their mechanic never did inspect those items,they just pushed the car thru to make the sale. I contacted [redacted] to tell him my findings and asked when the car could be brought in to be looked at.He said the following week. The vehicle was purchased for my son by him,his mother and me. I would have to first have to find out from my son his work schedual because he is in high school and works after school.With that information my son was able to comitt to a date I think was 3-31-2014.My son went to the dealership and all the mechanic did was replace the air filter,he was told that he would have to bring the car back another time for them to take a look at the wheel cylinder.At the time my son brought the car back to them we still did not receive the list of repairs.I have contacted [redacted] and he keeps giving me the run around and excuses "we are so busy I haven't had time. Today (X-X-XXXX) I called [redacted] and once again asked if he had the list ready? His responce again is I'm so busy I haven't had a minute,I responded to him to have it ready tomorrow X-X-XXXX I'll be there after work to pick it up. His responce was I won't be in tomorrow (X-X-XXXX) come in wednesday (X-X-XXXX).Desired SettlementI would like for them to clean the car inside and out,make the nesesary repairs according to trade standards(no short cuts) and make good on any future repairs for an extended 2 weeks post 30 day warrenty.Business Response First, Baron Auto Sales DID NOT sell a car to [redacted]! We sold the car to his son and his ex-wife. As to his "Complaint" any car could be delivered in a cleaner condition. As for the brakes, we had the rear brakes inspected and we found just as [redacted] found, that ALL brakes are in working order with no issues. We changed the air filter that really in truth did not need to be replaced, but we did. I'm not sure what his complaint really is. For him to say "No short cuts" is a joke! Nothing is wrong with the car! If we can help any more, please feel free to call us at XXX-XXX-XXXX! I am filing the complaint on my sons behalf because this is his first car and should have had a pleasant experience about the purchasing process with a used car dealer. Unfortunately he now has been involved in a not so pleasant experience. All said and done it is what it is.The only thing we would like and I reiterate is that Baron Auto Sales clean the car as it should have been at the time of delivery. The way the car was presented to him was unprofessional and I do not think anyone at Baron would have accepted a car in that condition if they were buying their first car.As far as the "no short cuts" comment, I have purchased a car before from a used car dealer and they took "short cuts" as to getting the car to pass [redacted] testing at that time.So now it comes to Baron Auto Sales, will they step up and take the car and give it a proper cleaning to keep a reputable name for themselves?
