Baron Designs

I am writing this letter in response to a customer complaint brought to my attention by youMyresponse is a follows:
-At no time was there a discussion that compensation in the amount of $would beconsidered a "deposit"It was a lump sum fee (as indicated on the receipt to the client)based
on estimated hours spent translating a rough, single line, un-scaled sketch into aworking floor planThe customer took offense to my criticism of the sketch during a phone conversation(week of September 15th 2014) we had after the first floor plan development I preparedwas presented to her on September 4th At that time it was explained to her that thesketch she provided was riddled with errors in scale and function and that the stair, asexplained in our first meeting and confirmed by her contractor, would not work as shownin the sketchShe refused to accept the advice from me, a designer with over twenty fiveyears experience as a designer in the building industryI revised the floor plan and resubmitted it to the customer on September 22nd 2014, noresponse, sent a second follow up email on September 25th to see if she received therevisions, she replied she did receive them at which point she said she would look themover and get back to me the first part of the next weekNo response so I sent out anotherfollow up email on October 27th, checking in to see if she had a chance to look themoverI didn't get a response from her until January 27th at which point she indicatedshe didn't have time to make any comments on the revisionsI did get a call from thecustomers contractor asking if I still wanted to do the project and I indicated to him thatyes I did but I was waiting for a response from the customer along with comments andrevisions to the second prepared floor plan I had provided to them for review on
September 22nd
Upon the receipt of your letter (read on July 7th, 2015) I will return the original sketch providedby customerI will also, upon email request from customer, email a digital drawing file (DWG)of the plan I prepared based on the sketch she provided to me.Upon your written request, I am prepared to provide a copy of all email correspondence, copies ofsketches provided to me by the customer with detailed notes regarding functional and scale errorsin the sketchI can also provide a copy of the $check I received from the customer which hasno indication on it that it was a "deposit"I will also provide a copy of the fee proposal andreceipt from Baron Designs to the customer for the $that in no way indicates it wasconsidered a "deposit".Sincerely,Anthony B***,
