Review: settled on my new home july 31st 2013. Had addition built before moving in from the ground up. $107.000.00 worth ( NOT A RECEIPT TO PROVE ANY OF THIS) A large cat room, and an In-law suite. total square footage 1098. A contract was never signed for the job. Never had breakdown on prices just trusted person because friend of family. From THE VERY BEGINING there where issues from the floor cracking, to woodwork being improperly installed, doorways that were jammed. cracks in formica counter. Jimmy was well aware of these issues from January 2014. Came down to look at and just kept saying he has been doing this for 27 years and never had any issues. there is nothing wrong with these doors or woodwork they were installed properly. months down the line flooring started gapping, coming up off foundation and actually floating and rippling. sent him texts and pictures and he text back saying my fault water damage etc. the floor he put in is not what I wanted. it was suppose to be identical to floor in original kitchen. he admitted that he knew that in a text but never stated why he put the crap floor in. He tried nailing laminate to floor . didn't work. no one has been in the suite for 2 1/2 months the floor is coming up worse. the person who was staying moved out due to tripping on gap in floor almost breaking her neck. that is when he came down and nailed floor. I'm done with him and have taken it upon myself to hire contractors for estimates. SO ALL 3 HAVE BASICALLY SAID THE SAME THING THE JOB IS 100% HORRIBLE WORKMANSHIP. WOOD WORK UNPROFESSIONAL. FLOORING INSTALLED 100% WRONG . 1 ACTUALLY SAID HOW DID THIS PASS INSPECTION? I'M LOOKING AT $20,000.00 WORTH OF FLOORING, DOOR'S, WOODWORK, FORMICA ALL REPAIRS BECAUSE IT WAS DONE WRONG.. WHEN ASKED WHAT I PD THE 1 CONTRACTOR NEARLY CHOCKED. I'VE SEEN HIS WORK FOR A HOUSE THAT HE AS A REALTOR HAS TO SELL NOTHING LIKE THIS. .HIS EMPLOYEE(S) SHOULD SMOKE ON THEIR TIME AND NOT THE COST OF THE CUSTUMERS I WILL NEVER REFERRE HIMDesired Settlement: TO HAVE MY CAT ROOM AND IN LAW SUITE TO LOOK BRAND NEW AND ALL WOODWORK AND FLOORING AND ALL FLAWS TO BE DONE 100% CORRECT.
