Review: [redacted] Technologies leased our company a defective copier 3 years ago. We have had problems with it ever since it arrived. Service calls and complaints are well documented with them. Then in December, the Vice President of the company met with me and offered to replace the defective copier with a new one. The new copier payment would include "paying off the existing lease" for the one we couldn't use. This did not happen. I am now being billed for both machines. The owner of the company, [redacted], said he would send the monthly payments on the copier but that he would not pay off the lease as he would incur a penalty. The penalty is $2214 (6 months worth of the payments)which he flat out refused to pay. So now I continue to have legal and financial responsibility for a machine that doesn't work and which he admitted should have never been sold to me in the first place. The offer to pay off this lease was put in writing by the Vice President of Sale for [redacted] Technologies. [redacted] admitted the "rules changed" with the leasing company and the early pay-off penalty increased which is why he was refusing to pay. This is not my problem. Additionally, [redacted] has overbilled our company for copies since last October. We had been billed quarterly since the inception of our contracts and without notice they switched to monthly billing. They took our highest quarter of copies (beginning of school) and then estimated a "new" monthly amount of copies and have been billing on that since. They never even called to get actual readings on our machines. It was clear when I met with [redacted] today he wasn't willing to make good on his company's promises even thought he knew they had misrepresented themselves. Possibly the most unethical business I have had the misfortune of dealing with.Desired Settlement: I want the lease on the defective copier terminated and rolled over into the new contracted amount. Or [redacted] can assume this lease in their name. I want [redacted] to follow through on what they promised and do what is right and ethical.

Review: The company Barone Capital LLC provides repair services for copy machines. Their billings are based on number of copies. They charge $0.0099 per copy (on my contract). Every three months they ask me to submit the number of copies as listed on the counter in my copy machine. They mathematically subtract the current number from the previously billed number to calculate the current period number of copies. My meter count on Dec 31 was 82,339; my meter count on Mar 31 was 86,704. They should have charged me 4,365 copies printed. In their worksheet to calculate my current usage they reduced my Dec 31 count to 81,593. Hence they were charging me for 746 more prints. I submit the meter reads to them every quarter so I know what the amounts should be. I believe they intentionally modified beginning numbers to raise their fee. Possibly they did this to me in prior years. Possibly they are doing this to a lot of customers.I can fax you meter read reports to show you the discrepancy between last year's final count and this year's beginning count.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and I'm worried about other customers. I would like a notice to go out to all their customers that this occurred and they should check their meter reads.
