[redacted] finally called me, (the promised call was back in the summer btw). She was very apologetic for not communicating and assured me that it was still being worked on.

Review: I went to [redacted] for a pocket watch repair in March 2012 for a broken crystal and more importantly for a broken mechanism. To this date I have not received communication as to whether or not the watch can be repaired nor a completion date. I have repeatedly communicated with the jeweler via phone, voicemail, visits to the store and an appointment visit to the store. I have not once received a communication from the store. It has been over two years, this is sufficient time to assess the repairability of an item. I made a deposit of $250. On one of my earlier visits to the store she showed me that she had indeed replaced the broken crystal and polished the watch, which is great. After that visit, and subsequent visits, I have asked for progress and an assessment. I was told that they need more time. After no communication I visited again, was told to make an appointment, so I did, and during the appointment was told that the watch still needs more assessment for repairability by another party and that they would definitely call me in 2 weeks time. I purchased a chain form them during that visit. I never received the call. It has been many months since that last visit. I tried to call today and the operator says the phone is disconnected. I WANT MY PROPERTY BACK!Desired Settlement: I want my property back and assembled in one piece. I want the portion of the deposit back that has not been used for the installation of the replacement crystal face and the polishing of the outside of the watch.
