Review: We were under a mandatory sewage project in Mt. Pleasant Twp. and needed to find someone to install the pipe. Barr Construction came out in February of 2013 to do the installation and said that they would come back in the spring of 2013 to level the ground, seed and straw. We were to pay him in advance. It is now May of 2014 and they have refused to come back to complete the work at both my home and my elderly father-in-law's. When we call we are told he is too busy with other work. He also did not complete the work for the area between my home and my neighbor's home which is a muddy ditch. My father-in-law has a ditch that makes it difficult to mow. We have tried to come to a peaceful solution with no success. They also did not have the proper equipment to do the work when he came to my home and we had to pay for the rental of the equipment. The sign that he uses for advertisement says that they do the complete job, including seed and straw. He has not done that.Desired Settlement: We would like to contract someone else to finish the work at both our home and my father-in-law's and have Barr Construction pay the invoice. I would also like to have the $165.00 that we had to pay for him to rent the camera refunded and be done with all of this in a peaceful manner.
