About a year ago she or her son brought her car in for the same power steering leak which at that timeher son told me she had someone else try to fix it which I told her son that whoever tried to fix itstripped the threads up which connect the two parts togetherWe were able fix it, but told her
son thatit is a temporary fixHer son stopped in I think the week of July 19th to make appointment for hercar because the power steering was leaking againI scheduled it for Monday July 25th We pulledher car in Monday morning to check the leak and it was the same problem as before so we again wereable to get it to stop leakingI called her son to tell him the car was done and again that it is a temporaryfix(A $dollar repair speaks for itself).He said ok and asked if the car can be inspected while there andI told him it’s done and outside and my mechanic already started on another carHe said ok that hewould be down to pick it upThe car sat here for a week or two then she called and ask if her car wasdone and I said yes that I called your son over a week agoShe then asked if it was inspectedI said I toldyour son that I couldn’t inspect it that day and ho said ok that he was picking it upI told her that I couldtry to get it inspected the next day which then I found out that she didn’t even have a current owner’scard which is needed for inspection, We did run it through inspection to see if it would need anythingfor inspection and it needed exhaust work and a hole fixed in the left rear rocker panelI called her totell her what she would need for inspection and gave her a priceShe said that she would get back tomeShe called a couple days later and said she was picking the car up then it sat here all weekShecalled a few days after picking the car up to say we didn’t fix her car that it was still leaking and wantedher money backI told her we did fix it because her car was here for two weeks and we had to move itaround and it didn’t leakLater that week a man said he was her husband called and wanted to knowwhat was going on with the carI explained to him explained to him that is was a band aid fix and theonly proper way to fix it would be to put new parts on which would cost around $He said that hewould talk to her and see what she wanted to doI did tell him to call me Thursday to see if I could get itin Friday to try and do something for herNobody ever calledThe following week we were closed forvacationShe did call the next week and said she needed to bring the car back to get fixedI told her thatwe were full this weekShe said that she is going on vacation and would call me when she gets back tobring it inI said ok(I thought to make a appointment not to just drop it off) The next Thursday shecalled and said she was bringing the car up today and I told her I can’t work on it today which leaves usto nowI didn’t take advantage of her or give her the run aroundIf she wants her $dollars backthat’s fineShe can have her son stop in a pick it up
