Barrie Move N Save

Thought I would share my experience with others who are in the Barrie area and were looking at these movers to help with their move ***
We booked Scott and his crew for a move on Aug 1, more than weeks prior and discussed with him the details of the entire move and the contents We asked if he could come by to our house for an evaluation so to ensure there were no surprises in move day We setup a time for him to visit us and when that day came...no Scott or anyone from his crew Called him again and was told not to worry and the price we talked about would be correct Red flags were going off on me already but I have the benefit of the doubt We were quoted an amount based on the items we were to move, expected time to complete the move and final location We were given a time to move Aug for 9am
Day of the move:
9am came and went with no show Called them up again and they advised that they were running behind but will be to us very shortly 11:45am they show up Not impressed at all!!
They arrive and start to load up the trailer Scott goes into apartment and comes out stating that the price will be double what we had agreed to I tried to understand why he would say this since we had agreed prior We said there is no way we are paying more especially double Scott and his team grabbed everything off the truck and threw it back in the garage Shut up the trailer and left These guys are a class act...NOT *** Lucky for us we were able to find another trusting company who were able to move us on super short notice and helped us out
