Matter is being discussed with the NYS Attorney General [redacted] Manufacturing has gone out of business ajnd has voided the manufacturer's warranty The products are not warrantied as stated in the contract at time of purchase Barrier Window Systems Inc, the distributor, will serviceas per the specs of the window as a courtesy only Please advise customer that we are not required to service the windows but are as a courtesy to our customers We provide repairs based on our current suppliers ability toprovide parts.Best Regards,Marion [redacted]

We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with your home Please know that windows do not make mold However, we will be happy to service your problem.As you mentioned with your complaint, you have a manufacturer's warranty Our company is happy to service your products and will gladly come to your home upon receipt of your written request for service summarizing the repair issues and 50% deposit for the trip charge This is our service policy Although the manufacturer warranties the product, our company charges for a one time trip charge and NYS Sales tax We will look for your request Also, we can accept this request via e-mail and can take your deposit with any credit card Please email requests to [redacted] and include your payment information where indicated Please know we will only charge your card for 50% of the trip charge and will expect the remainder after you are satisfied with the repairTo trouble shoot your problem, please be sure that all areas of the window are clean and closed and locked properly If the weep holes are clogged with dirt the system will not be allowed to drain the water properly Windows are engineered to shed the water through weep holes

In the old windows the glass size was x inches the new windows the glass size is x 19-1/I wanted the grids to have sections but the grids in the new windows only have sectionsThis was communicated to the salesman before the final measuring was doneHe assured me that even though this was different from the original order the section grids would not be a problem because the order was not placed yet

We had another contractor ( [redacted] ###-###-####) who is currently working on the house next door come over and look at the situation with the windowAfter he looked at it he said that they had not insulated the bay window which is attached in the picturesThis is the information to be added to the complaint filed

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This part of the roof in question has been going on every since they put the roof up in No where did they give me a contract that says I have to pay each time they come to fix it Secondly my papers say that the roof is guaranteed for years so there is no reason to go to the insurance company when the roofing company is the one who put in defective siding or has done a bad job putting on the roof His own men said they did not replace wood that should have been replaced before they put the siding back up I have a home in Folsom and have never had the problems with my roof which is years old that I am having with this roof that is only years old The only reason they are not doing work in PA anymore is probably because everyone that they have done work for in Pennsylvania is complaining about how bad the work is or has had continuous problems like myself.I have agreed to meet them at the house next week for another repair but I expect the work to be done correctly and completely I don't think I am asking a lot from a company who is supposed to be standing by their product and whose business is roofing Regards, [redacted] ***

The job has been inspected and our company has determined that condensation is the cause of the moisture Our project manager is working with the customer and has scheduled a repair that will include getting the window back to when it was installed in addition we are going to go beyond our scope of contract and help the customer for tech the windowsill and add insulation to the seat we have advised the customer on condensation and will direct him to the articles that will help solve the condensation issues

As per your legal contract, you are well past the cancellation period allowed per NYS We received your order, measured your windows and ordered them based on your acceptance and non cancellation within the allowable timeWe did the critical measure on Sept10, We received the windows yesterday and called you yesterday and you explained that you do not have time off work and that you cannot take time off for the installation of your productsYour contract is for a very large window opening removal that will require construction and additional work necessary to complete the job The work was explained to you at time of purchase We are sorry that you feel that you cannot take the time out but require your presence due to the nature of the job We want to be sure that our work is done to your expectations and that we are paid at time of completion The contract is non negotiable at this time as we have invested money in your project Please contact us to schedule todayBest Regards, Anthony C

Revdex.comCurrently there is an open service on this job which is under warranty unfortunately due to the horrible storm and Highwinds which we cannot control there was siding that had blown off our company is warranting this 100% even though it was an act of God The companies project manager has and will be contacting the customer directly in the near future to arrange the repairs We are not sure why the Revdex.com complaint as our project manager is on top of this situation and will be addressing it until the The repair and adjustments are finalized and the customer is satisfied please let us know if we can help you any further.Best regards Marion [redacted]

Revdex.com spoke to Marion and John, Project Manager, at business and the following was relayed:The original triple pane was 7/8" glassThe manufacturer is no longer in business and the available triple pane is 1" which does not fitThe double pane is 7/8" and does fitIt is Energy Star EfficientThere was no charge for the glassIf the consumer would like, I am willing to go out and inspect to see if there are any issues, at no cost to the consumer.Additionally, Marion at business sent the following email and attachment with copy of contract:Attached is the requested original contract sold to [redacted] Please note that there is no “branding” language listed I appreciate your time with this matter Best Regards, Marion

Dear [redacted] , According to your contract, which I have attached, we have completed the contract according to our company's and the manufacturer's standards After the contract was sold, we went over the scope of the contract again and clearly explained to you all the products that you purchased again During the measure, John explained the siding that you were receiving and also stated that you did not decide to purchase the more expensive siding because of the added expense of the material He specifically went over each product again during his time at your home during the measure In addition, as seen from the contract, the Soffit and Fascia was not included in the signed contract John asked why you decided to omit these items You explained to John that you decided against the soffit and fascia purchase do to the added expense The contract was completed and was signed by you upon completionOur Completion certificate specifically asks you to sign only if you are 100% satisfied with the products and the installation of the contract.We received a Revdex.com Complaint from you just after completing the contract which is FULLY Warrantied as per your contract We were surprised to hear that you did not fully understand what products were installed and have set an appointment with Mr [redacted] for next week, Monday at 3:30pm Both the Project manager and Sales Rep will be attending Apparently, there seems to be some miscommunication between you and Mr [redacted] who was not present at the measure
