Barrilli Construction was hired to remodel our bathroom. They damaged the vanity top (scratch & swirl marks along with a chip) Vince Barrilli claimed it came in that way from the factory. (why would you install something that was damaged??) The manufacturer sent someone out to inspect the top. His conclusion was the top was sent out in perfect condition, and the damage was done during the installation. The scratches and swirl marks were probably caused by them wiping the top down and cloth had some foreign substance ( ie:grout from the tile on the rag) and the chip was most likely caused by placing a tool on top of it.) They tried using soft scrub to remove the scratches, the only thing the soft scrub did was dull the luster and finish. He denied taking any responsibility. A refinisher was able to repair the damages (cost of $200). Vince Barrilli on the phone and in a e-mail said he would reimburse me the $200, IN WHICH HE NEVER DID.
