2nd applicant had been approved for the home and the house was taken off the market. The same day the lease was to be signed they called and said they do not want to rent the house. The matter of the returned check still stands. We have informed them of the return check by letter for $50.00 plus a $25.00 NSF fee. We had no repose from them regarding the matter. We sent them to collections for the amount of $75.00. We did not sell their information to anyone at any point. The company that called is a collection company trying to collect on the debit owed to us. I have documentation that can be provided, if the Revdex.com would need this information.
Review: In early February, I applied for an apartment with Barringer Investments & Property Management in Tracy, CA. I was told unless the apartment was rented, I would not be charged application fees. Although I wrote a check of $50, I was under the impression, I would not be charged as stated. Today, May 20th, I received a call from [redacted] at Alternative Recovery Management, 619.415.0542 stating that I owe $77 dollars to Barringer. The issue here is, Barringer sold my information including social and birthday to this company without my notice. I therefore want to hold them accountable and get my money back ASAP.Desired Settlement: $100.00
