It.s a Scam no gift card or a good service ((ao smith system cost $497 and it dose the same thing))
They promise you first if you allow us to test your water we will give you $100 gift card!!
they test my house water they waste my time for more one hour and they told me to fill out the servey and the promise me I will get my gift card in the mail in 7 days .
I never got any ,I called them they said we will send you a check ??? they never did send any ???all lies
if you spend $5000 To $7000 may be you get your gift card !!!!

I just received a check of $100.00 today 06/18/2020 after waiting for few weeks nd few phone calls,
Usually most company they give you the gift cards on the spot weather you buy or not ???
but barron service LLC they want to wait 7-10 business days for the gift card.
the problem is resolved.!!!

We never recieved our *** giftcard that was promised to us for a $100.00 once we completed a in home sales presentation.
We moved in our new home on 3/26/20 and shortly after recieved a Welcome to the Neighborhood brochure saying to call the number listed to recieve a free gift card. Once I did I was told that we me & my husband would both need to be home and participate in the demonstration when the sales rep came out in order to receive the gift card that no purchase would be necessary. The day the rep came out he explained he didn't carry the gift cards on him but as long as we participated the gift card would be mailed to us. The demonstration was actually interesting and we almost purchased the system until we realized the system was overpriced and the money they were taking off as part of the special was actually being tacked on the back end we decided against it. The rep was nice until he became a tad pushy once we said no. Now it's been over a month and still have not recieved the gift card in the mail & can not get anyone on the phone that can help if it even goes through. We feel as if the gift card offer was just a way for the company to get the rep in to our home but since we did not purchase we did not recieve the giftcard as told by the woman rep setting the appointment up and by the rep that came out that day.

Desired Outcome

We would like to recieve the *** gift card like we were told by both representatives of the company.

I spoke to Mrs *** on 6/5/2020. Due to Cov-19 we were out of office on most occasions. Her gift card will be mailed promptly.

This email doesnt work. I have the same experience and cant get hold of anybody. Nobody answers the phone. They say they are out of the office.

they don't honor prices. If you don't accept their deal and terms on the spot,they wont honor the deal if you need time to think about it later.

sales rep came out and did his sales pitch. I initially had no intention of buying a water filtration system. at the end, it was definitely something to think about. they were offering a deal that included the water filtration system with the natural vision soap membership. J.R said that with the amount of money you save from the soap membership, it would pay for the system. He offered me a deal which was around 4k, but only if took the deal right there and then. I told him that I wouldn't be able to do it right now. 4k is 4k and its not a decision made on the spot within minutes.
after he left I thought about it for a few days and made the decision to call him back and move forward with the said deal. well when I called back, he said his supervisors did not want to honor the deal, the deal was only good while he was in the house. this was literally a few days later, nothing has changed. the supervisors did not want to honor the price they originally said, and they said that the deal was "not possible". They tried to make me settle for a higher price and a lesser product that I did not want.
I have not had their product, I wanted to give them my service, but the fact that they tried to take advantage of me when I called them back to move forward is ridiculous. there was no reason to not honor the price.
I am sure their product is good, but their sales practice is shady and not honorable. they try to use the " only while im here" sales practice to get you to buy on the spot, and if you dont, then you "lose the deal" and are forced to buy at a higher rate.
its a shame we couldnt come to the original deal. again I am not saying their product isnt good, im sure it is, its their customer relation that I have a problem with. which makes me skeptical about their on-going sutomer service.

an honorable agreement and honor the original price and deal.

UPDATE: the VP (Cody) of the company contacted me directly. He was very I formative and accommodating. We did come to an agreement. Cody was able to honor the original offer. Easy installation. And easy finance process.s I am more pleased with him taking his time To reach out personally I discuss and arrange an agreement. That Kind of customer service means more than the product and or deal.

They made a promise to sell water filtration system but don't honor their promise if you don't buy
When I bought my house, Barron Services offered a free $100 "welcome to the neighborhood" gift card. When I called for it, the gift card is available no purchase necessary if you listen to someone give a demonstration on their water purification system.

I had someone come by about 3 weeks ago, didn't purchase, but filled out the paperwork needed to get my gift card. The salesman did act annoyed that I didn't buy. Awhile later, I still hadn't received my gift card so I called to inquire on the status.

Twice I spoke with someone that said they'd ask a supervisor and either the supervisor would call me back or they would. Both times I didn't receive a call back. The third time I called they gave me a number for the redemption department, I called multiple times and got a busy signal. Then I left a voicemail, but never received a call back.

This company is advertising themselves by offering a $100 gift card if you allow a salesman into your home and let him/her demonstrate their system. The problem is they are not fulfilling their promise. They were very clear no purchase necessary, although I have to think my lack of gift card is because I didn't make a purchase. I believe this is a deceptive marketing practice. When I call to inquire, I get passed off to another department which has been equally non-helpful.

Desired Outcome

I just want my gift card. It is very hard to get in touch with someone who can actually help, because the business is divided into multiple separate departments. If they will just send me my $100 gift card to Amazon like they promised, I will be satisfied and withdraw my complaint

Due to covid-19 we are following cdc and state guidelines and working from home. I received the Message regarding Mr. this morning 4/22/2020 and spoke to him personally regarding his gift card and notified him it was being mailed out today.

Shortly after I filed this complaint, I received a phone call from the company vice president. In that phone call he satisfied all of my concerns. Turns out that phone call wasn't even in response to the Revdex.com complaint. I'm not sure why my first couple of calls didn't get to a supervisor, but once they received the info on my third call he satisfied all of my concerns. I fully understand that due to COVID-19 and teleworking communications can get dropped with all of these companies in a disaggregated state, and am sure that this is what happened. I withdraw my complaint, and thank the company for taking care of things.

After the presentation was done we went with the purification system even thought there was some information that we found out later that they forgot to mention but that is not the problem that I am having, the problem is with the Vice-president Cody M. On January 10th I called him and left him a message but no reply, on the 11th I texted him because I was having issues with the purification system and that was the only number I had. The text was as follow" Cody, this is Hector Ramos, yesterday I left you a voice message and today I am texting. I have some questions about the equipment you guys installed. If you can't call me please have someone do it." His reply was "Please call the office during normal business hours. Thank you." so when we purchase the equipment we were told any issues or problems gives us a call and that was a lie. In order to get someone to come and check the equipment which by the way the solar panel was not working I had to call the Aqua Finance. Now today this morning I call because at 4:30 in the morning the equipment was making a very loud noise and was leaking a lot of water, at 4:30 in the morning. When I call Barron Services the lady who answered the phone told me that it was normal and that of course didn't do anything for me and I ask her to have someone look at it so I can feel more relax. Cody M call me and told me the same thing she said and when I told him that I was not comfortable with that answer he told me that if he sends someone I will be charge. My point in here is that since I purchase the equipment in November of last year I had so far 2 issues and the customer service that I am receiving from Cody M the Vice-president is a very unsatisfactory one. I am contacting Aqua Finance as I am not going to continue paying for the equipment. I am a disabled veteran just retired from the Army with 22.5 years of service and I don't need lousy service or treatment from a person like him.

In January of 2020 we went out to service the equipment for Mr R per his request. All testing showed the equipment working properly after fixing a power issue. When Mr R called again in March of 2020 it was explained to him that the equipment was working per manufacture specs based on our conversation. I told him I would send someone out just to test but he was not happy about a service charge. In the spirit of compromise I will gladly send a technician out one more time at no charge if he so wishes.

Honest people. Good service. Almost bought a Rainsoft system instead, but decided to go with Barron. When I called to cancel the Rainsoft installation, the guy was so rude about me wanting to cancel which confirms that I made the right choice.

The Vice President of the company himself came out to install my system along with one of his employees. Very clean installation and I received the $100 gift card when they were done.

We have already noticed an improvement in our water quality so the system is definitely working.

Water Is Life. I am adamant about having the best water possible for every use in my home. Florida has absolutely awful water. Toxic chlorine and other chemicals detrimentally affect health. I purchased Solar Shield and have been very satisfied with my water and the system. The science behind it leaves other systems in the dust. I recently had Barron Services come out to service the equipment (seems that vandals messed with it) and the company stands behind their products and service 100%. Solar Shield has a lifetime guarantee that was well worth the expense. My experience with everyone in the company - from our sales rep who sold us the system nearly 3 years ago (he now lives out of state but actually still responded in kind when I called his old business card) to the friendly office staff (real humans who answer the phone, hold actual conversations and provide satisfactory solutions) to the extremely knowledgeable and efficient equipment tech (high five to super genius Katt who refrained from muddling my right brain with too much chemistry and component jargon) has been EXCELLENT. This is absolutely the way business should be conducted. I would highly recommend Solar Shield and Barron Services. NOTE: There seems to be a lot of freebie-centered complainers who never even purchased a system. I've put my money where my mouth is.

We would like to thank Barron Services for their excellent service. We also like to acknowledge Will (service tech), for his professionalism and expertise, in dealing with our water softener problems. We are very grateful.

Received post card about free water test at my new home. Called, made an appointment that lasted 3 hours and never received my $100 gift card.
I received a post card in the mail welcoming me to my neww home. The post card indicated to call for a free gift card of my choice. I did, they told me I would need to allow the company to come out and perform a FREE water test, fill out the survey (6 questions) and then I would get the gift card. Our records indicate that Mrs R spoke to someone in our administration dept on 10/30/2019. Her gift card was mailed out the same day. As far as being in her home for over 3 hours that is not typical of our company and she may have us confused with someone else.

Mr. is correct I finally did get through
On the customer service line and the representative was very helpful and apologized and sent out a check for the $100 which should arrive in 10 business days (is has been 3 days this far). I appreciate the companies call back and for addressing this matter.

They sent us four different post cards offering us fee Gift Cards in the amount of $100.00. In the tiniest of print at the bottom of the card it says, "Some restrictions do apply."
You have to have your water tested before they will give you your Gift Card for $100.00, No Purchases Required.
To me that's fraud.

Barron Services does send out gift card offers to consumers and yes some restrictions do apply, just like any other offer you may get, and no there is no fraud be committed here, sorry you feel this way.

I have not received mine in almost 6 weeks

Today 8/7/2019 Carlo and Ben where here at my home in Belleair Florida.
I have to say when they walked in I was like oh boy what a waste of my time We can't get back .
As Carlo did his presentation , we were very impressed by him .
Both of them were extremely personable and not pushy and just extremely friendly.
My husband is an extremely hard sell and by the end of the presentation, they sold him .
Thank you . I just hope what was promised is done .

When we moved in our new house we recieved a post card stating if we called a number we would get $100 gift card. When I called the number I was informed I had to let their sales rep come to the house and demonstrate their product. The woman said once we watched the demonstration and filled out the survey they would mail out the card the next day. It has been well over a month and still haven't recieved the card.

If the company is going to issue a check, then I am satisfied with their response. I was unaware I had to call for the gift card. I was told as soon as the survey was completed it would be mailed out.

False Promises- just like everyone else.
I received 3 post cards in the mail welcoming me to my new home- they all indicated to call for a free gift card of my choice. We were strongly considering the purchase but if the company can't keep good on the promise of a $100 gift card, I can't believe they would keep the promises with their expensive systems.

I spoke to Mrs. on 11/27/2018. It was a misunderstanding and the gift card is being sent today.

Total scam! They promise you a gift card. Since I didn't buy their service, they came up with the excuse that my boyfriend (who does not own the house) was not in the 10x10 kitchen with me (the homeowner) since he was in the bedroom with a back injury, literally 10 steps away, I all of a sudden don't "qualify" for the gift card! And , their rep has to argue with me so if you don't plan on financing thousands of dollars for a water system, don't waste your time. I'm reporting them to Revdex.com and Attorney General

Unfortunately there was a miscommunication between the rep and Mrs D. She will be receiving her gift card promptly.

Promised a $100 *** gift card but never received it since February 2018.
This company sent out a flyer as a welcome home gift asvertsiting that if you allowed them to come into your home and complete a free water testing and demo that you would receive a $100 dollargift card just for allowing them to do the demo. Demo was done in the beginning of February. Survey was completed. Here it is October and STILL no gift card.

I have called multiple times and have been told multiple times that someone would come out to fix my system and no one has shown up.
I purchased this water treatment system back in December 2017 and ever since I got it, It has not done what I was promised it would do. This system was 5495 dollars and sooo not worth it. customer service is terrible I had a guy come out and look it over and they told me that it was working well but I know its not cause nothing has changed so I have been calling again and now im being told that someone will come out but they never show up. Im at the point that my water is contaminated now cause every-time I drink a lot of it I get sick so I have been buying bottled water which defeats the purpose of this system. Im almost at the point of suing cause if the water is really making me ill then Im going to be very angry cause I have a toddler in the house and a husband thats being affected as well. I honestly just want city water back cause Im not going to pay 5 grand for something thats a piece of crap. I dont want any other people getting sucked in to there promises like I did. Im very disappointed!!!!

At this point Im so fed up that I just want the system gone and my remaining money back. I dont care about the payments we have made I just what whatever is left back and the system gone and city water back. I honestly think we will be better off.

I spoke with *** on 8/6/2018. The complaint was filed before her request for service on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She let me know that my technician thoroughly checked her equipment and everything is working to her satisfaction. She also informed me that the complaint was made out of frustration. Barron Services maintains a high standard of quality and we treat any service request as a top priority.

My wife and I recently moved and had received mail offering a gift card as a welcome to the neighborhood gift, in exchange for a free water test and demonstration. We were skeptical to go through with that but being we hadn't ever been on well water we decided have them come out. Wayne tested our tap and our bottled water, and then tested water filtered out of our tap using the Solar Shield system. The differences were shocking and after some more of the demonstration we had to consider the investment. Wayne was so informative and educated on water in Florida. We were reluctant to buy a water filtration system after just moving and spending money on other things such as appliances, but we felt it was important to have safe good quality water for us and our children. Since the system has been installed we have had the best coffee we've ever brewed, and are saving money on bottled water. Our skin feels cleaner and so do our clothes. We are very satisfied with the change in the quality of our water. Money well spent and happy with our purchase and experience with Barron's Services.

Was promised a gift card that I never receiveed.
On Monday May, 7 a representative from Barron Servces came to my house to do a water test. This appointment was originally scheduled for the previous week but they cancelled and rescheduled. The rep Ray did the tests and the product is interesting but I wasn't given a gift card as advertised. I've called them twice and there's never a response.

Now I'm thinking the whole thing is a scam.

The $100 gift card as promised. I held up my end they need to hold up theirs.

Made misleading claims about chemical reactions, never received gift card. Never followed up after demo
Sales rep made several false claims about chemical reactions stating that water reaction made cyanide with limestone etc. I have master's with organic, inorganic, and biochemistry training as well as hazardous chemicals etc. while I agree water is not good quality if I didn't have background it would have been enough to scare me into buying any system to filter water. Second issue is in exchange for demonstration was supposed to receive gift card.
Sales rep never allowed phone call at end to let me give opinion. Stated he would let company know what I told him. I have since tried to contact company and voicemail is full.

Desired Outcome

Training of staff to give accurate information and data. Determine if sales representative kept gift card-which would constitute theft.

I spoke with *** on 5/7/2018. The phone number she tried reaching us on does not belong to Barron Services, she will be receiving her gift card promptly in the mail. Barron Services does not nor has it ever used scare tactics in our demonstration, it is against company policy and every rep knows this. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We certainly want to make this right.
