Re;complaint registered at Revdex.com, I submit the following: Mr and Mrs were scheduled 3/2/for examination and evaluation for treatment. One was for 1;30PM and the other @ 2;PM. The family had not been seen for a year, and Mr failed his apt on 3/7/without the courtesy
of a call to inform us . Therefore, when they did not come as scheduled, and we could not confirm the time with them due to disconnected phones, and previous history of missing a scheduled apt, the office assumed they were not coming. My associate waited a reasonable time, minutes, before leaving. Because they presented well after the scheduled time and the Dr was no longer in the office, by state law, no treatment, including taking xrays could not be done. The pt has the obligation to present on time, or if they were going to be late, call and inform the office so we would knowWe treat all people with respect, and appreciate the same in return. *** insurance is accepted , as well as most other insurancesRace, creed, religion, etc do NOT factor into patient care or scheduling. We are sorry that a misunderstanding occurred, but rely upon confirmation of apt ( could not be done due to disconnected phones), phone call from patient about being late ( did not receive) and prior history ( have missed scheduled apt 3/6/2016)
