I am aware of this particular complaint and have firsthand knowledge of this situation. The customer's complaint of what happened is skewed and erroneous. Before repairs were made [redacted] was verbally told that he should expect additional...

expenses during repairs due to the extreme age and mileage of his vehicle (1998 [redacted], 255,180 miles). The plastic radiator inlet snapped during removal of the upper coolant hose during the course of repairs. Having followed published repair guidelines the radiator should not have broken, and I attribute that to extreme mileage and lack of maintenance to this particular vehicle. I made the customer aware of the expected additional repairs needed, including additional drilling and tapping of broken exhaust studs. According to my call log he called on Fri 1 1/28 at 8:56am to authorize repairs, a full 56 minutes after the 8am cutoff for that day's delivery of a quality radiator from my vendor. Vehicle was repaired as promised on Monday, and at the estimated price. [redacted] attempted to take possession of the vehicle without paying bill in full. The PA state police were contacted, and **. and [redacted] were informed by Cpl. [redacted] that due to the age of the vehicle any reasonable person would expect breakage during the course of repairs. They had to leave to get money, meaning they had no intention of paying what [redacted] authorized on 11/28.[redacted] paid the bill in full at 5:20 that day.
Customers request is denied for the 2nd time. No refund will be given. Furthermore I suggest the [redacted] research PA law on libel and withdraw the false information on my [redacted] business listing. It's ok to criticize, but false information meant to malign my business's reputation carries legal consequences.
