For Valentine\'s Day the misses decided to surprise me with a RCX 3.5 inch lift. Because I\'ve received great and satisfying service from the Yadkin store and I decided to go into the Murchison store to inquire about install pricing for the lift kit as well tires. I spoke with Mike (service writer) and explained that I received the kit as a gift. As Mike began to look into the company system for pricing (I assume) I asked \"why should I pay to get my truck lifted here versus somewhere else\"? Mike then explained that his 46 years of experience versus 3 months (910 Motorsports) was the reason I should. He then began to ask how much the kit was purchased for (which I didn\'t think was important) and continued to say that not buying the kit with Rhudy\'s was not good idea explaining that I would have saved $100. I then asked about tire options wanting to know what was the largest size that I could put on my truck with the lift. Mike then said that he could not speak about technical data since the kit wasn\'t purchased through him. At this point the misses is upset feeling as if she made a mistake...which in turn upset me. After she walked off I explained to Mike that I was no longer worried about pricing seeing that he had just upset the misses and that he was instrumental in not only making her Valentine\'s weekend bad but also her birthday weekend. You\'d think Mike would be more considerate of such seeing as though his birthday is Valentine\'s Day. \r\n\r\nMike did make the attempt to apologize to the misses, so kudos! But the damage had already been done and she\'s spent $500+ on something she knew I wanted but now feels worthless based off his comments. Nevertheless, after such service and comments made I\'ve decided that I\'ll be better elsewhere spending my money. I understand that most local Dealerships here in Fayetteville, NC utilize Rhudy\'s for installations however it seems they\'re more worried about the corporate aspect versus the actual consumer who walks into their store....or maybe it\'s just Mike. If needed, I\'ll still go to Yadkin for audio related items and installation, however I\'m thinking that going to Lumberton to Extreme Soundz may be more to my liking.
