dimensions we had been given because a stub wall had been built in the wrong location, not allowing enough room to meet codeThe complainants representative told our installer how they wanted the material modified and installed in the existing opening, even though he was informed by my installer that this change would violate ADA codeThis is how material was installedThe complainant shook my installer's hand when he was doneThe building inspector then informed the complainant that the toilet partitions did not meet codeThe complainant demanded that Bartley Sales fix the issue at our expenseWe informed him that we had furnished material that met all code requirements until it was modified per the complainants instructions, but the only way to meet code was to increase the opening size 2" by moving the stub wallAlso, the complainant does not like the continuous stainless steel hinge provided at the ambulatory stall door to allow for the 32" clear opening width required by code, and demanded the same type of wraparound hinge provided at the standard stall doorsI informed him that the wraparound hinge does not allow for a 32" clear opening door in a 36" stall as required by code, and the provided hinge is industry standard in an ambulatory stall applicationThe complainant then stated that he was contacting his credit card company and canceling paymentWe responded that we would then need to place a lien on the projectAt no time did we mock the complainantWe did however refuse to visit the site, as until the room size is rectified there is nothing we can do to fix the situation

The quality of the installation was never brought to our attention in the conference call we had with the complainant and the installerThe substance of the call was the complainant demanding that we visit the site to fix his code compliance issue, and we pointed out that the material was out of compliance because he built the room opening too small, and there was nothing we could do about that
